Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: La Paz-Tuni Lagoon-Chiarkhota: Departure from La Paz by car and arrival to the Tuni Lagoon in 2.5 hours. The walk continues until the Condoriri Base Camp at 15,416 ft. (4,700 m). The view from this place is magnificent, more than 16 snow peaks can be observed such as the Condoriri and Alpamayo. Box Lunch. Afternoon walk for 4 hours until the Chiarkhota Base Camp at 15,416 ft. (4,700 m). Dinner and overnight. Includes: (L, D).
Day 2: Chiarkhota-Liviñosa Lagoon: Trek starts by 10:00 am. There are two high passes, the Agua Negra Pass at 16,400 ft. (5,000 m) with good views of the Condoriri and Huayna Potosí and the Zongo Sistaña High Pass at 16,301 ft. (4,970 m). Box lunch on the way. This high pass connects with the Pre-Inca trail that leads for 6 or 7 hrs to the Liviñosa Lagoon. Dinner and overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 3: Liviñosa Lagoon-Botijlaja-La Paz: Departure from the Liviñosa Lagoon to Botijlaja to where you will arrive in 3 hours. The steppe valley shows more subtropical vegetation just above the Zongo cloud forests. You will pass the Botijlaja Hidroelectrical Station. Return by car to La Paz, ascending the Zongo Valley. Great views of the Huayna Potosí and its glaciers from the Plataforma High Pass at 15,416 ft. (4,700 m). Transfer to your hotel. Includes: (B, L).
