There are many reasons for choosing Costa Rica as your next destination. Its natural attractions, tourist development and warmth of its people offer our visitors a unique experience. Costa Rican Treasures offers a 10 day-vacation package visiting some of the country’s highlights, such as Arenal Volcano, Tortuguero National Park, the world-famous Monteverde Reserve and one of Costa Rica´s most beautiful beaches, Manuel Antonio.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Hotel Residencias de Golf or similar. Upon arrival to international airport, a private van will pick you up at the airport and will take you to Hotel Irazu. I will meet you at the airport and will forward the service vouchers.
Day 2: Around 6:30 a.m. A van from Laguna Lodge, Mawamba or Jungle Lodge will pick you up and will take you to Rio Danta Restaurant for a typical breakfast, before continuing your trip to Tortuguero National Park. At Caño Blanco, you will board the covered boat to the lodge, passing the Tortuguero canals arriving between 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. At the lodge our staff will be waiting for you with a refreshing cocktail, your rooms will be assigned and the guide will explain the afternoon activities after lunch -the visit to the Turtle Museum of the C.C.C. (Caribbean Conservation Corporation) and to the colorful Tortuguero town.
You will return to the lodge around 5:30 p.m. Free time to enjoy the pool, the bar service and prepare for your dinner. Dinner service from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and then rest of the night free to enjoy the surroundings, pool and bar.

Day 3: Optional 6:15 am tour to admire the awakening of the wildlife of Tortuguero. Return for breakfast (service between 7:30 a.m. to 9:00a.m.). Then another boat tour to admire the canals of Tortuguero National Park. This is a wonderful and interesting experience where you can see abundant flora and fauna of Tortuguero National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch and free time for a siesta, enjoy the pool or go for a walk to the beach. Then you have another optional tour to the canals or stay at the lodge to explore the private trails of the lodge, visit the open butterfly garden or simply enjoy the pool. Dinner at the lodge and free night.

Day 4: After breakfast, you will start the bout transportation back to the dock. Here you will continue the trip by land to a local restaurant for lunch. Another van will pick you and will take you to the amazing and beautiful Arenal area. Lodging at Volcano Lodge which offers comfortable rooms with view to the volcano, cable TV, air-conditioning, swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Day 5: One more day at this amazing region. Today you can have an optional tour offered which include: hiking tour, horseback riding, safari float tour, Venado Caves, canopy tour, etc. In the evening, around 6:30 p.m. you will visit the incredible Eco Termales, an eco-friendly hot spring resort immerse in the rainforest Enjoy a relaxing time here and a delicious dinner.

Day 6: After breakfast, a van will take you to the ARenal Lake where you will get into a bout and cross the lake towards Monteverde. This is a very relaxing experience which only takes around two and a half hours to get to Monteverde. Travelling by land normally takes around five hours. At the other side of the lake, a van from hotel Heliconia will pick you up and will take you to the hotel. Lodging will be provided at one of the Junior Suites with partial view to the Nicoya Gulf.

Day 7: After breakfast, a guide will pick you up and will take you to Selvatura, where you will enjoy a self-guided hiking on the hanging bridges. Selvatura is a conservation project located in Monteverde, a location world famous for its cloud forest. The tour consists of 8 bridges of various lengths ranging between 204 and 480 feet. The total length of the tour is about 1.8 miles. This tour provides the safest possible way to enjoy the canopy and the cloud forest from its most interesting perspective. Back to Heliconia. In the afternoon, you can have any of the optional tours like horseback riding, visit to the Santa Elena village or you may just want to walk around. Overnight.

Day 8: Private transportation to the beautiful beach area of Manuel Antonio. Lodging will be provided at Costa Verde Hotel, a beautiful, comfortable hotel which offers large rooms with air-conditioning, view to the ocean and a private reserve for hiking.

Day 9: Free day to enjoy this paradisiacal place. There are many optional tours that you can choose while in Manuel Antonio, such as: white water rafting, guided hiking tour at Manuel Antonio National Park, canopy tour, horseback riding and more.

Day 10: Breakfast and transportation to local airport for flight to San Jose. Upon arrival private transportation to international airport (this transportation can be offered by land as well for the same price).
