Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Meet in Istanbul, Turkey.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Istanbul, including the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque.
Day 3: Visit Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman Sultans and then a private cruise on the Bosphoros.
Day 4: Fly to Izmir and travel to Kusadasi.
Day 5: Visit Ephesus, the star of Asia Minor, the most important Roman city in Anatolian antiquity.
Day 6: Drive to Gocek, board the gullet (Turkish motor yacht), your home for the next 7 nights. Cruise to a small cove for overnight.
Days 7-12: Cruise the Turquoise Coast, including:
* The Temple of Athena
* The royal Lycian Tombs of Kannos
* Many Byzantine Ruins
* The underwater ruins of Cleopatra’s Bath
* Many private bays for swimming and snorkeling.
Day 13: Fly to Keyseri and visit the Cappadocia area and overnight in a cave hotel.
Day 14: Morning walk in Cappadocia areas, with it’s many spires and other-worldly qualities. Afternoon visit to Kaymakli, the underground city that is at least 10 stories under the ground.
Day 15: Morning balloon ride, and afternoon visiting Zelve and it’s “Chimney fairies”.
Day 16: Fly to Istanbul and overnight.
Day 17: Fly home.
