Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Early morning departure to the Valley of the Thracian kings - a region of Thracian burial mounds near Kazanlak. Visits to the famous Kazanlak tomb (included in UNESCO), the tomb of Seutus III, "Ostrusha" tomb and the Historical museum in Kazanlak. Overnight. Day 2: Drive to the Thracian tomb in Alexandrovo (IV B.C.) and visit to the Thracian tomb in Mezek (IV B.C.) Overnight. Day 3: Departure to the Deaf Stones (XII B. C. Thracian burial niches), the VIII B. C. Cromlech (Bulgarian Avebury) and Perperikon (the Oracles of Dionysus) - according to the ancient legends, that was the place where Alexander the Great and Augustus learned their fate - "The prophets sat in a roofless oval chamber and said to Octavian, father of Augustus that his son was to rule the world, for as the wine was split onto the altar, the smoke rose up above the top of the shrine and even into the heavens, as had happened when Alexander the Great himself had sacrificed upon that same altar...". Overnight. Day 4: Morning visit visit to Tatul (the presumable tomb of the legendary Thracian singer Orpheus) and Harman Kaya (absolutely unknown ruins of a Thracian sanctuary). Departure to Plovdiv.
