One of the newest water sports out there, Kite surfing will surely excite you! Have the great opportunity to learn it with one of the best kiteboarders in the World and his team - all certified by the world - famous International Kite Organization (IKO). The waters off the coast of Caye Caulker – a tropical island off the coast of Belize - provide the perfect conditions for kite surfing. Sun kissed beaches, a blue Caribbean sky, cool winds, warm crystal-blue waters, and a tropical scenery like no other makes your kite surfing experience a fantastic one. Your experienced and internationally - trained guide gives a lesson and helps you through out the entire time to make sure you master this aquatic art. Whether you’re a novice or a veteran at this you’re sure to have a blast as your guide gives strategies and imparts as much knowledge for you to pick up and appreciate the sport.
Theory instruction takes place on beach for ˝ hour followed by 2 hours of in-water practice. Guides teach safety, wind direction & strength, kite structures, launching/landing kites, kite control, launching on surf board, re-launching after wipeout etc. (Kites will not be able to be launched in poor wind conditions.)
This is a 3 hour activity.
