Huangshan with its world famous mountain scenery and Hongcun in Huangshan City, cultural heritage site with its water buffalo-shaped ancient village and the location for the Oscar prize-winning film, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Shanghai to Huangshan by night flight. Meet at your hotel and transfer to Pudong International Airport, take flight FM9265 (2020/2130) to Huangshan City. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Check in Huashan Hotel.
Day 2: Huangshan Scenic Area. Head to Mt Huangshan after breakfast ascend to Yupinglou by cable car. Starting climbing up the mountain: Tiandu Peak, Yupinglou. After lunch, continue to explore this wondrous mountain: Guangming Peak, Flying Rock, Paiyun Pavillon, etc. Lunch and Dinner are served in the hotel. Check in Beihai Hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Huangshan scenic area to Hongcun and back to Shanghai by night train. If it is a clear day, we will get up early to enjoy the sunrise at Qingliang Terrace or Lion Peak. After breakfast in the hotel take cable car down the hill to the Yungu station, departure for Hongcun (1 hour by car/van).
Lunch at Hongcun Village, visit the most beautiful village of China which was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. Proceed to Tunxi (1 hour by car/van), have a leisurely stroll at the Old Street. Transfer to the railway station, take a night train back to Shanghai. Stay overnight on the train. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 4: Arrive in Shanghai early in the morning. Meet and transfer to your hotel. End of service.
