Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing. Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer you to the hotel to freshen up. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Beijing Qianmen Jianguo Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Beijing. Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Your first stop is the impressive Tienanmen Square. Then pay a visit to the "Imperial Palace" known as the Forbidden City to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. Lunch is served at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors worshiped the Heaven for good harvests. Next go to the Summer Palace, the imperial summer resort during the Qing Dynasty and is well preserved. Overnight at Beijing Qianmen Jianguo Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 3: Beijing. Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Head for Juyongguan Pass to hike the wonderful Great Wall. Lunch is served at local Chinese restaurant. Later the journey will take you to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain. Back to your hotel. Evening free. Overnight at Beijing Qianmen Jianguo Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 4: Beijing - Xian by plane (duration: 2 hours). Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to another historical city Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, transfer to the local restaurant for lunch (It takes about 1 hour to drive from the airport to downtown Xian). This afternoon's city tour includes a visit to the Ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Overnight at Xian Diamond International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 5: Xian. Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Today's highlight is the majestic Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Lunch is served at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the History Museum which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province. Then visit the Great Mosque. Overnight at Xian Diamond International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Xian - Shanghai by plane. Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Transfer to the airport to take a morning flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you'll be met and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will have a visit to the Shanghai Museum, stroll along the Bund to experience the thrills of old Shanghai. Enjoy the skyline of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower standing by the Huangpu River. Back to your hotel. Evening free. Overnight at Shanghai Hengsheng Peninsula International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7: Shanghai. Have ABF or Buffet for breakfast in your hotel. Today you will have a unique experience of being a Shanghai dweller by visiting a local residential community to learn how ordinary people live in China today. You may also visit a local family, chat with them, learn to make some Chinese food and even have lunch with them. In the afternoon you may wander in the beautiful Yuyuan Garden and City God Temple Bazzar (Shanghai Old Street) where you could buy some ornament for your family or friends. Overnight at Shanghai Hengsheng Peninsula International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 8: Departure from Shanghai. After breakfast in your hotel, you will transferred to the airport for your homeward flight. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose our City Tour Packages as an extension to your China adventure! Includes: (B).
