Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Beijing. On arrival in Beijing you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Free and relax the rest of the day. Overnight at Holiday Inn down Beijing or similar.
Day 2: Beijing. Today we visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Great Wall of China. We begin the tour with the way of Spirit, the gate of the Ming Tombs. After lunch we spend the afternoon at the Great Wall. Overnight at Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 3: Beijing. This morning we visit China's largest public square, walking through the gate of Heavenly Peace to enter into the Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City. Sightseeing inside of the Forbidden City includes the front halls, Imperial garden and some of the most beautiful imperial treasure collections. After lunch we continue to the Temple of Heaven, the place where emperors went to pray and to show appreciation for the good harvest. Overnight at Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing or similar. Day 4: Beijing/ Xian. Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian be met and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch we visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Then walk the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque. Overnight at Le Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 5: Xian. Today we visit the Terra gotta Warriors, one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Later we take a short walk on the Ancient city wall one of the best preserved in China. Overnight at Le Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Xian/ Kunming. This morning we take flight to Kunming, a spring city in South China and experience the colorful ethnic culture on this fantastic land. Overnight at Kunming Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7: Kunming. Today we visit the amazing Stone Forest, consisting of 80 hectares of limestone cliffs and peaks eroded by wind and water over two hundred million years. After lunch we visit a Sani minority village as well as a bird and flower market. Overnight at Kunming Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 8: Kunming/ Lijiang. In the morning drive to the Western Hills and take a chair lift to the highest point. Visit the Dragon Gate and Bamboo Temples. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lijiang. Overnight at Lijiang Jade Dragon Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 9: Lijiang. The ancient town of Lijiang, with its canals and quaint mysterious streets has been enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Today we visit the Black Dragon Pond and wander the old town. Overnight at Lijiang Jade Dragon Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Lijiang. Today we visit the Nanxi Baisha village as well as the Yufeng Monastery. After lunch we visit the Jade Snow Dragon Mountain. Overnight at Lijiang Jade Dragon Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 11: Lijiang. Today is free to explore this special town. Overnight at Lijiang Jade Dragon Garden Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 12: Lijiang/ Kunming/ Guiling. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Guiling via Kunming. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight at West Hill Business Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 13: Guiling/ Yangshuo. This morning we will enjoy a 4hr cruise on the Li River. Lunch served on the boat before we arrive at the small town of Yangshuo. The afternoon is free to explore this picturesque town. Overnight at West Street Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 14: Yangshuo/ Guiling Airport. Today you have the opportunity to take a bike along the Yulong River and visit a local village. Enjoy lunch in the countryside. The rest of the day is at leisure until your departure transfer to the airport for onward flight. Includes: (B), (L).
Hong Kong Extension:
Day 14: Guiling - Hong Kong. Met and transferred to your hotel. Free in the evening.
Day 15: Hong Kong - Home. Free till your departure transfer to the airport for flight home.
Shanghai Extension:
Day 14: Guiling - Shanghai. Upon arrival met and transferred to your hotel. Free in the evening.
Day 15: Shanghai. Today we visit the Shanghai Museum, former French concession, the Bund and have a cruise trip on the Huangpu River. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 16: Shanghai - Home. Transferred to the airport to take flight home. Includes: (B).
