Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Beijing. Arrive in China's capital city where you will be met by your tour guide and transfer to the Grandview Garden hotel for a three night stay. Relax or explore Beijing on your own. Overnight at Beijing Grandview Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Beijing. This morning you will start with Tienanmen Square, the spiritual heart of the country and the stage for many historical events. Then you will visit the Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum. Lunch is served at a fine local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Summer Palace, used to be the imperial summer resort. Optional evening out to the Peking Opera. Overnight at Beijing Grandview Hotel or similar. Day 3: Beijing. One of the highlights to any trip to China is an inspiring day tour to the mighty Great Wall at Mutianyu, where a cable car ride is included. Enjoy plenty of time to walk along its ramparts and absorb the breathtaking views. After lunch return to Beijing, enjoy a little free time. Overnight at Beijing Grandview Hotel or similar. Day 4: Beijing, Xian by plane. Begin the day with a visit to the beautiful Temple of Heaven. Late afternoon fly to Xian. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. For dinner you could try dumplings, a typical and popular cuisine in Xian. Overnight at Xian Diamond International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 5: Xian. An unforgettable full day tour including the awe-inspiring Terra gotta Warriors, ancient city wall and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Optional evening to the Tang Dynasty show. Overnight at Xian Diamond International or similar. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Xian, Chongqing. Enjoy breakfast and visit the historic Hanyang Tombs before flying on to Chongqing. Enjoy a small tour that includes the Peoples Square, Free Market and the Zoo to visit the pandas before boarding your cruise for four nights. On board after dinner. Overnight on China Regal Cruise. Day 7: Cruise the Yangtze River. Today you will have a shore excursion to Fengdu. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Cruise the Yangtze River. Passing through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Take an excursion to the Small Gorges on the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Yichang, Shanghai. Pay a visit to the Three Gorges Dam Project in the morning. Disembark your cruise at about 14:00 after lunch. A brief city tour in Yichang and then transfer to airport for flight Yichang, Shanghai. Transfer to your hotel for two nights. Relax or explore Shanghai on your own. Overnight at Shanghai Dorure International or similar. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Shanghai. Shanghai is China's most vibrant city with a long colorful history. On your guided city tour, stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road, discover the Old Town and visit the Shanghai Museum. This evening enjoy a farewell banquet followed by an amazing acrobat show! Overnight at Shanghai Dorure International or similar. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Depart Shanghai. Free till transferred to the airport to take flight home or to the next destination. Includes: (B).
