Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Dunhuang. Met at the airport by tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Relax or explore the city at your own. Overnight at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Dunhuang. Take a full day tour to visit Mogao Grottos, Folk Culture Museum, Crescent Lake and Roaring Mingsha Hill. Overnight at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 3: Dunhuang, Lanzhou. Today your tour begins with a visit to Yumenguan, next the Great Wall in Han Dynasty, then the Hecang Fortress and Yang Gate. In late afternoon transferred to the airport for flight to Lanzhou. Upon arrival in Lanzhou you will be met by local tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Relax or explore the city at your own. Overnight at Lanzhou Jinjiang Sun Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 4: Lanzhou. Today's highlights are Gansu Provincial Museum and an excursion to Bingling Temple. Located 75km south-west of Lanzhou, Bingling Temple is an important Buddhist site dating back to the 5th century. Overnight at Lanzhou Jinjiang Sun Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L)

Day 5: Lanzhou, Xiahe. After breakfast in your hotel, drive to Xiahe (8 hours) for a visit to Labrang Lamasery. Xiahe, regarded as Tibet in Gansu, is getting more and more attractive. Labrang Lamastery is one of the six largest religious temples of the Gelug Sect of China's Lamaism, second only to Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The lamasery covers 202 acres and has more than 10,000 halls and accommodates over 3,000 lamas. Overnight at Xiahe Gengzang Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 6: Xiahe, Lanzhou. Transferred back to Lanzhou in the morning. After lunch in local Lanzhou restaurant you will do some city tours: Wuquan Park and White Pagoda Hill. Overnight at Lanzhou Jinjiang Sun Hotel or similar. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 7: Depart Lanzhou. Transferred to the airport for flight to next destination. Includes: (B).
