Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Shanghai. Meet your guide on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Activities today depends on the exact arrival time. You may have a half day tour or just a stroll along the Bund.
Day 2: Shanghai. Have breakfast at your hotel. In the morning you will visit Shanghai Museum, People Square and stroll along Nanjing Road. Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Chinese style. In the afternoon you will visit Yuyuan Garden and the Old Street. Dinner is not provided, you can taste some local delicacies. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 3: Shanghai - Guiyang. Transfer to airport, take flight to Guiyang. Visit Qianling Park in the afternoon. Dinner is not provided, you will have a good chance to try out spicy Guiyang food. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 4: Guiyang - Anshun - Leishan. Today you will have an excursion to Anshun where the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall is located. The falling water is so transparent that it looks like a beautiful falling glass wall. A 20 minute eclectic minibus ride will take you to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area known as "Stone Forest on the Water". Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Leishan - Rongjiang. This morning you will pay a visit to Langde Ethnic Miao Residential Area. This is the largest existing Miao Village in Guizhou Province. In time-honored fashion, visitors are invited to drink 12 cups of the locally named "road blocking liquor" when they enter the village. Unmarried girls here are wearing heavy silver jewelry, and ancient irrigation equipment is still in use. Visitors can also to see Miao dance performance.
In the afternoon you will visit another ethnic village known as Datang Miniskirt Village there is a big pool, in which there is a barn in the middle. The design of it prevents rats and mice devouring their supplies. The architectural style of Song Dynasty is maintained, while villagers are wearing Tang-style clothes. One more curious thing: the miniskirts worn by the Miao women made them look absolutely gorgeous! Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Rongjiang - Zhaoxing. A coach takes you to Zhaoxing in Guangdong after breakfast, where you will discover the biggest drum tower group in China. The houses of ethnic Dong are particularly eye-catching, boasting a simple yet elegant layout in a very leisurely style. The Dong's Music and Dance Performance is the highlight of the itinerary. Day 7: Zhaoxing - Sanjiang. The pastoral scene is really marvelous on the way to Sanjiang! And we'll go to the largest all-weather bridge in China's Chengyang Bridge. It is the pinnacle of the Dong's architecture for it consists of bridge, corridor and kiosk altogether, which are included for the purposes of traveling, resting and viewing respectively. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Sanjiang - Longsheng. After finishing breakfast, let's begin our day in Guilin: Wooden Houses in Longsheng Ping'an and farmland on the slopes are both very eye-catching. Longji Farmland's layout is mainly in Qing Dynasty style, which the field goes windingly between hills' gaps and changing scenes from season to season, as well as in the day. To reach such a marvelous place, visitors first to get the car park, and then by bus going to the door of field, taking a short walk to the 1st or 2nd viewing platform. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Longsheng - Guilin. Beginning at Huangluo Yao Village, we meet the long-haired ethnic Yao. The scenery in the village is mountainous, with bamboo forest and crystal clear springs. Coach transfers to Guilin. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Guilin - Yangshuo. A leisurely cruise along the Li River is your closing highlight, witnessing spectacular limestone rock formations and rural life along the river banks. Lunch is served on board. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 11: Yangshuo - Guilin - Hong Kong. Half day city tour in Guilin. Transfer to airport after lunch and take flight to Hong Kong. Includes: (B), (L).
