Peru has one of the largest networks of Inca remains and following the innumerable trails that connect with the most amazing sites in the Cusco, Puno, Nasca, Lima, Arequipa, Paracas, passing through remote villages out of the reach of motorized vehicles, and having the chance to get know local Andean communities and learn their amazing life style. Mountain Biking is a relatively new sport in Peru, but new routes are rapidly being opened up, many of which offer excellent opportunities to ride.
For the more adventurous people, we arrange long biking trips. We are best undertaken and an experienced tour operator providing professional guides and bicycle equipment as well as the necessary supporting 4WD vehicles.
We have cycle trips from 1 up to more days designed to get the most out of your holiday. Beginning in the high Andes and descending into the Amazon jungle, we cycle from altitudes of 5000m to 600m. Biking on the single tracks, dirt roads, humid lands, frigid and warm climates, camping or spending in the local family houses.
Tour Itinerary:
Nazca / Pampas Agaleras / Toro Muerto / Villa Tambo / Sol De Oro. At 6am we leave from your hotel and 2 hours travel in our four wheel drive vehicle by the highway to Cusco up to 4400m located at the 105 km. There is the flat land and highest point (4800m) to begin our adventure full day Mt. biking tour. Here we will appreciate this amazing national reserve of Vicuñas, we do a short walk getting acclimatization and pictures from these animals and also, our guide will show us everything and give us a completely explain about the bike gears. After a good hot and energetic breakfast we will be ready to enjoy this trip.
At 10am everybody have the helmet, glove testing the bikes and beginning the downhill Mt biking by asphalt serpentine route on the mountains, trying to go faster than the Vicuñas running away from us, most of the bikers ride between 35 - 50 kph. The spectacular views of Andean Condor, flying close to our head, on this trip we will ride the Mt. bikes in the small canyons, over the mountains, feeling different temperatures from the Andes to the cost. The asphalt route is for people who want to go as fastest as possible, but there are single tracks cutting the serpentine, that’s are for adventurous people who want to feel the adrenaline breaking hard, jumping and hitting the rocks on the dirt tracks.
At 3pm after the 5 hours riding, 3800m descending on the bike and 105 km distance of ride we will back to Nasca and will have a delicious lunch included a nice refreshing in the swim pool to spend rest of your time of this day.

Rain Season: December to March. Some days are with blue sky permitting to cycle this zone.
Best Time for Cycle: After rain season (April to June) the mountains are completely covered with snow and the slops are cover with new vegetation making more nice for pictures.
Advice for Bikers: Normal physical conditions and summer clothes, bikers require good acclimatization over 3600m. One day before all the bikers will have meeting with the mountain bike guide at our office or in the hotel, who will give a briefing about this bike trip and also you can check the quality of bikes and gear will be used on this trip.
