This very popular trek ascends the Santa Cruz valley and crosses the Punta Union pass at 4750m. There are superb views of some of the Cordillera Blancas most spectacular mountains such as Chacraraju, Alpamayo and Artesonraju. There is typical Andean flora in the beautiful meadows of the Santa Cruz valley and skirting turquoise alpine lakes.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Lima Huaraz (3090m).
Day 2: Acclimatization day.
Day 3: Huaraz Llamacorrall (3760m).
Day 4: Llamacorral Taullipampa (4250m).
Day 5: Taullipampa Cachina camp (3710m).
Day 6: Cachina camp Vaqueria Llanganuco Huaraz.
Day 7: Huaraz Lima.

Most of our trekking, climbing Holidays are fully supported, meaning you need only carry a small pack with items needed during the day, such as a camera, binoculars and waterproofs. The rest of the luggage is transported by porters, donkeys or a support vehicle. We find that while on trek & climb, a certain level of comfort is appreciated.
