Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Airport – Bishkek. Arrival to Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing tour: Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Philharmonic hall, Statue of Manas, Victory Square. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Bishkek - Kegety. Transfer to Kegety (70 km), Kol-Tor gorge. Meet our local guides. The slopes of the gorge are covered with dog roses, barberry, mountain ash, juniper, and fir tree forest. A serpentine path goes through the top of the range separating the gorge and leads south-east to the Kol-Tor mountain lake. Overnight in tents near the lake.

Day 3: Kegety - Shamsy. Transfer to the Shah's House, Tuyuk East River via Tuyuk-Shamsy Pass (3700m). Camp is near Tuyuk River. Nearby is the Shah's House at an altitude of 2469m. Sauna. You will pass the slope that separates two rivers, Tamchi and Kol-Tor, then cross the gorge and ascend to the watershed of Kegety and Shamsy rivers. Here you may come across mountain sheep – teke, and mountain turkey - ulnar. Overnight in tents.

Day 4: Shamsy. Six hours hiking tour from the Shah's House to the confluence of Shamsy and Ashuu- Kol-Tor Rivers. The road runs along beautiful gorge twisting between the two rivers. Lush pine forests shroud the right side of the gorge. Juniper trees, dog roses, diverse medicinal plants shroud the left side of the gorge. You may be lucky to see graceful, timorous roe deer and mountain partridge. There are a lot of cool, clear springs in the cracks of the gorge. Overnight in tents.

Day 5: Kyzyl-Suu. Hike up to alpine meadows of Kyzyl-Suu gorge (2200m). It will take about 5 – 6 hours. You will see alpine meadows, carpeted with flowers which are overlooked by everlasting snowy mountain peaks. Overnight in tents by the Tuyuk-Jar River.

Day 6: Oktorkoy. Walk along the left side of the river, than cross the bridge to the right side where you can observe the panoramic view of the Kyzyl Suu gorge. Further go through the watershed (2400m) where you see Kyrgyzstan Range and Oktorkoy mountains. The hike takes 6 – 7 hours. Here you can enjoy the beauty of green pastures and come across glades of edelweiss. In the old days it was one of the paths on the Great Silk Road. Than you cross the Oktorkoy mountains and come to a halting place near a pure spring. Overnight in tents.

Day 7: Konorchak canyon. You will enjoy a nice panorama of the mountains and quaint canyons, called "Aeolian Castles". Descend to Boom Canyon via the Oktorkoy Mountains. Drive to Bishkek (150km). Farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 8: Bishkek – Airport. Transfer to the airport (30km), departure.
