Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Home – Beijing Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be taken to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Your touring in Beijing begins with a full day tour of the Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square and the Summer Palace. Enjoy an Acrobatic show and an authentic Beijing Duck dinner tonight. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Beijing. Today you will have an exciting full day excursion to the Great Wall and Ming tomb. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Beijing. This morning, you tour the Temple of Heaven and then visit a Beijinger home – a unique opportunity to meet local residents of the Hutong district which has been well-preserved since the Qing Dynasty. Afternoon is free. (B, L)
Day 6: Beijing / Hangzhou. Depart for Hangzhou. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and take you to your hotel. This afternoon, you will cruise magnifi cent West Lake and take a walk on the famous Su Bank to Flower Harbor. A famous Hangzhou cuisine is reserved for your dinner this evening. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Hangzhou / Shanghai. Morning tour features Liu He Pagoda. Leave for Shanghai via private touring car. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will visit Yu Garden and the Bund. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai. Tour features a day-trip to Suzhou. Visit the Garden of the Humble Administrator, Tiger Hill, Lion Grove and one of China’s best silk embroidery factories. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Shanghai / Wuhan / Yangtze Cruise. Morning is free. This afternoon you fly to Yichang where your local guide will take you to join your cruise. (B, L, D)
Days 10 - 12: Yangtze Cruise (Upstream) Enjoy the breathtaking sceneries of Three Gorges, shore excursions and shipboard amenities. (B, L, D)
Days 13: Chongqing / Dazu / Chongqing Cruise ends in Chongqing this morning. Your local guide will meet you on board and take you to Dazu to see famous Buddhist sculptures in the mountain caves. Return to Chongqing and check in to your hotel. (B, L)
Day 14: Chongqing / Xian. Depart for Xian. Your local guide in Xian will meet you and take you to see the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Old City Wall before checking in to your hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 15: Xian. Full day tour features the Terra Cotta Warriors, Shaanxi Provincial Museum and the impressive ancient City Wall from the Tang Dynasty. (B, L, D)
Day 16: Xian / Guilin. This morning, you fly to Guilin. Your local guide will meet you and take you to see Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill before checking in at your hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 17: Guilin. Today features a full day Li River cruise. Tonight, enjoy a Minority Folk Dance show with dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 18: Guilin / Guangzhou / Hong Kong. Depart for Guangzhou. Your guide will meet you and provide a city tour visiting the Chen Family Temple and Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Late this afternoon, you take an express train to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, your local guide will take you to your hotel in Kowloon. (B, L)
Day 19: Hong Kong. Your morning tour of Hong Kong island via scheduled tour bus includes a tram ride to Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen Floating Village and other highlights. Afternoon is free. (B)
Day 20: Hong Kong / Home. You will be taken to the airport for your flight home. (B)
