Traverse the beautiful geographical formations of the Cape Fold Belt mountain range and visit the most Southern tip of the African continent.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Our day starts with a historical tour of Cape Town before we enjoy a tour the acclaimed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and enjoy a sumptuous lunch in these pristine surroundings. After lunch we enjoy a drive around False Bay and along the Palmietberg mountain to the village of Hermanus. This is renowned as the best land-based whale spotting area in the world.

Day 2: We follow the southern coastline to the Southern most tip of Africa, Agulhas also known as the Cape of Needles. We enjoy lunch in Agulhas before heading inland through large wheat and sheep farming areas to the historical town of Swellendam established in 1745.

Day 3: An early start today to visit the Bontebok National Park before returning to Swellendam to explore the Old Drostdy Museum complex and have lunch at the Old Goal. After lunch we cross the Langeberg mountain range via Tradouws Pass and stop for tea at the quaint village of Barrydale. After tea we proceed down Route 62 to Montague.

Day 4: A beautiful drive through the Burgers Pass, Die Koo and Rooihoogte Pass en-route to the village of Matjiesfontein which has been proclaimed as a national monument. Enjoy lunch in the historical village and in the afternoon we explore the area and visit the Blockhouse built by the British during the Boer War to protect the rail link.

Day 5: We head back towards the Cape of Good Hope and stop at the only succulent botanical garden in Africa, the Karoo Botanical Gardens in Worcester. We continue on to Paarl and a cellar tour and wine tasting at the historical KWV Cellar . We enjoy lunch at the cellar and then drive to Cape Town and take the cable way to the top of Table Mountain to enjoy the amazing views over the Cape Peninsula 1000 meters down below. Our tour ends at your hotel where you can relax after your fantastic experience.
