Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Cape Town and surroundings. If weather permits we can visit Table Mountain and cable cart. Signal hill. The Castle of Good Hope (the oldest preserved western building in South Africa) Robben Island and then Kirstenbosch botanical gardens before we go to our hotel. Late afternoon we can visit the Victoria & Alfred waterfront till after dinner (180km). Overnight at Cape Town area.

Day 2: Cape Town and surroundings towards Somerset West. After breakfast we can travel towards Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Boulders Penguins & Cape Point. After lunch we head back to Cape Town via Kommetjie & Chapman’s peak drive, if it’s open for traffic, if we have time we can visit Hout Bay where you can visit a pearl factory (170km). Overnight at Cape Town area.

Day 3: Somerset West towards Mossel Bay. After breakfast we can travel towards Hermanus leaving Cape Town behind. At Hermanus we hope to catch a glimpse of the Wales. On our way towards Mossel Bay we can have lunch at Swellendam the 3rd oldest western town of South Africa. At Albertina we can visit the Aloe factory for a tour and buy some aloe products (570km). Overnight at Mossel Bay.

Day 4: Mossel Bay. A day of leisure. At Mossel Bay you can visit the old Post Office & Diaz museum. Mossel Bay is known for its weather, beaches the second best in the world next to Hawaii. Shark diving, Whale watching & Boat trip are some of the activities you can enjoy. Overnight at Mossel Bay.

Day 5: Mossel Bay towards Oudtshoorn towards Knysna. We depart directly after an early breakfast towards Oudtshoorn, situated in the Klein (small) Karoo. It’s also the ostrich capital of the world; we will first visit an ostrich farm before we visit one of South Africa’s biggest en most beautiful caves the Cango caves, a worthwhile visit. After lunch we can visit the Cango Wildlife Center before we travel towards Knysna via George. On the way you can visit George and should be at Knysna that evening. We will travel through forest and along the sea shore as well as lakes, some of the garden route’s most beautiful spots, before we enter Knysna (420km). Overnight at Knysna.

Day 6: Knysna towards Port Elizabeth. After breakfast we travel towards Port Elizabeth and on our way we can visit Plettenberg bay and a visit to Beacon Island, Storms river mouth, Tsitsikamma forest reserve, The big tree (a 800 year old yellow wood tree), Bloukrans pass & Grootrivier pass, we can watch people bungee jumping from the Bloukrans bridge, the highest bridge bungee jump in the world 216m (420km). Overnight at Port Elizabeth.

Day 7: Port Elizabeth - Addo Elephant Park - Fly to Johannesburg. After an early breakfast we will travel towards the Addo Elephant Park and enjoy the day in the park (320km). Overnight at Johannesburg.

Day 8: Johannesburg towards Livingstone. Transfer from hotel to airport will be arranged. A fly in, one night sleep and fly out visit to the world’s larges and biggest waterfall, The Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world. Transfer from Airport to hotel will be arranged. Overnight at Livingstone.

Day 9: Livingstone towards Johannesburg. Day of leisure. Plan your day as you wish before you fly back to SA. Transfer from hotel to airport will be arranged. After landing at JIA you will be transferred to the City Lodge where you will overnight. Overnight at Johannesburg.

Day 10: Johannesburg/Pretoria towards Graskop. After an early breakfast we can visit one of the following; a South African goldmine at Gold Reef City and experience and view how they pour a gold bar or the Cullinan diamond mine for a surface tour before we travel eastwards and cross parts of the Mpumalanga Highveld. Towns such as Witbank (South Africa’s coal capital with more than 22 collieries in its boundaries), Middelburg (Africa’s biggest stainless steel factory is situated next to this town), Belfast (Hadaeco tulip farm, the biggest tulip bulb exporter to Europe), Dullstroom (South Africa’s trout fishing mecca), Lydenburg at the foot of the well-known Long tom pass, Sabie (South Africa’s forestry capital).

Graskop is situated on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment and the lowveld with it’s scenic views, Blyderiver canyon, God’s Window, The Pinnacle and Bourke’s luck potholes (520km). Overnight at Graskop.

Day 11: Graskop towards Kruger Park. We could drive along a scenic road over Kowyn’s pass and drop about 650m within 45km by the time we reach Hazyview, South Africa’s banana capital, or we will travel along the scenic road through Strydom tunnel towards Hoedspruit, our next stop will be Kruger Park where we will enjoy the nature and wildlife (250km). Overnight Kruger Park.

Day 12: Kruger Park. After breakfast we travel towards Kruger Park we could visit Kapama Cheetah breeding project and maybe we will visit some of the park’s camps and picnic sites and enjoys game spotting with all the beauty of nature. We overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the camps (200km). Overnight Kruger Park.

Day 13: Kruger Park through Swaziland towards KwaZulu-Natal. After an early breakfast we depart from Kruger Park towards Swaziland. We normally enter at Pigg’s Peak border post. We travel towards Mbabane the capital of Swaziland we travel through Swaziland and enter KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. We enter the Hluhluwe reserve at Hluhluwe and enjoy game spotting with all the beauty of nature (580km). Overnight at Hluhluwe.

Day 14: Hluhluwe reserve towards Shakaland. We can have an early morning drive in the park before we have breakfast. After breakfast we slowly travel towards the exit of the reserve. We could visit St. Lucia and its surroundings before we travel to Shakaland where we will overnight in a Zulu village and experience the Zulu culture at first hand (320km). Overnight at Shakaland.

Day 15: Shakaland towards Durban to fly back home. After a Zulu breakfast we travel towards Durban. At Durban we can visit Ushaka aquarium, Indian spice market and the golden mile on the beach before we head for the airport for your flight back home (260km). Overnight on the plane.

Total ± 4210km.
