Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Houay Xay (Thailand-Laos Border)–Luang Namtha. Upon arrival at the Lao border check point, you will be welcomed to Laos by a local guide and transferred to hotel. After check in, we explore to visit Ban Nam Chang Village - Lao Houy people, Ban Poong - Tai Leu people, where local whiskey produced (Lao’ Lao) made of sticky rice. On the way, we stop to visit hill tribe villages and lunch at local restaurant. Check in at Boat Landing Guesthouse.

Day 2: Luang Namtha–Muong Sing. After break fast, we travel by mini bus to Muong Sing, on the way we stop to visit hill tribe villages: Ekor (Aka) and Lan Taen people who used to be a group of Sino – Tibet people. After lunch we discover the way of the life of hill tribes, we will also visit Chieng Tung stupa, Ban Nam Ded Village, Ban Nam Mai Village of Yao people and the Laos-China border Pang Thong local check point. Return to Muong Sing. Accommodation Phou Lew Bungalow.

Day 3: Muong Sing–Xieng Kok (Laos-Myanmar Border). Early morning visit fresh local market, colorful minorities spend this market. Then we drive around 70 km to Xieng Kok, Laos-Myanmar border at the Mekong River, where you will enjoy visiting the colorful minorities villages, Ekor, Lan Taen, Khmu, return back to Muong Sing. Accommodation Phou Lew Bungalow.

Day 4: Muong Sing–Udom Xay–Muong La. Today we drive to pass Luang Namtha. Lunch in Udom Xay, on the way we stop to visit at some hill tribe villages, arrive in Muong La in the late afternoon, after check in Muong La Resort is free time on your own to explore and walk around villages of Khmu people.

Day 5: Muong La–Muong Khoua–Muong Ngoi (by boat). After breakfast, we drive around 64 km to Pak Nam Noi village (Ban Sin Xay village) which is the junction between Muong Khoua and Phongsaly Province and Ban Lak 8 village (Ekor Para) people. After lunch in Muong Khoua, we take a private traditional boat down stream on Nam Ou River. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape of Nam Ou River and on the way we stop to visit some villages. Check in the best Bungalow in Muong Ngoi.

Day 6: Muong Ngoi–Luang Prabang (by boat). After breakfast, take a private boat down stream on Nam Ou River to Luang Prabang about 6 hours. Included stop visit textile villages and the famous caves of Pak Ou - housing thousands of retired Buddha statues. On the way, lunch at local restaurant with a beauty view of Mekong and Nam Ou River joys each other. Arrive in Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Discover Luang Prabang, UNESCO Heritage Town. In the morning we take sight seeing tour in the town to visit temples such as: Wat Visoun Temple the originally was built in 1513 by the King Visounarath and made of wood. It was destroyed by black Chinese (Hor) in 1887, now has become the museum of the temple. Visit Wat Aham Temple and the National Museum (Former royal palace) which was collected the antiques keep inside included sacred Prabang Buddha statues. We then visit Wat Xiengthong Temple is the most beautiful temple and the oldest Wat was built in 1560, the only one was not destroyed by the war. Walk around city, then clime up 328 steps to the top of Phousi Mount for over looking the view of Luang Prabang shopping your souvenir at night market with the reasonable price.

Day 8: Kuangsi Waterfall. You may get up early morning to offer the food for Buddhist Monks, over 300 Monks walking a line on street side for collecting food. And then do not miss to see local market, then come back to hotel for break fast. After breakfast, we drive 25 km to Kuangsi Waterfall. On the way we stop at Ban Na Sao, Ban Na Ouan Hmong villages. On Arrival at waterfall, we walk through forest take a short trekking and Possible to swim. Return back to Luang Prabang, on the way back we visit weaving textile villages of Ban Xangkhong, and Ban Xieng Lek the community who produce Sa Paper, made from the jute tree for decoration as a lamps, writing, painting, packing and others, return back to Luang Prabang.

Day 9: Luang Prabang–Xieng Khouang (the Plain of Jars). Have a beautiful drive to Xieng Khouang, the site of the Plain of Jars, traveling through the mountains. On the way, stop at a cave that was used as a hospital during the time the Americans were fighting the Vietnamese–Laos, although neutral, was bombed repeatedly during this time and suffered many casualties. Discover the Plain of Jars the first site is biggest one over 300 jars and see sunset here.

Day 10: Xiengkhouang–Vang Vieng. After breakfast, we drive back to the junction at Phou Khoune, we make some stops on the way and have lunch in Kasi village, arrive in Vang Vieng late afternoon. Check in Elephant Crossing Hotel and is free time on your own walking a long Nam Song riverside a beauty of scenery lime stone, enjoy your cool drink and watch sunset here.

Day 11: Vang Vieng–Vientiane. After breakfast, visit Tham Jung Cave before leaving for Vientiane, stop at Vang Xang Waterfall, a cluster of 10 high-relief Buddha sculptures on cliffs is thought to date from 16th century, and visit some villages on the way. Arrive in Vientiane, after lunch, we take for sight seeing tour to visit religious museum of Wat Sisakhet, the oldest temple has been survived from Siamese War in 1828 and its cloister contains more than 8.000 Buddha statues, Hor Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statues. That Luang Stupa, the single most important stupa in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa containing a piece the chest of Buddha, visit and take photo at Phatouxay (Arch de Triumph) was built in 1959 and also a symbol of Vientiane Capital.

Day 12: Visit the COPE’s Visitor Center. After breakfast, in the morning we visit local fresh market to learn about local foods and vegetables and Morning Market where we can buy different kind of jewelry, souvenirs, handicraft is reasonable price. Then visit COPE, the Cooperative Orthotic Prosthetic Enterprise, an NGO which is working to help rehabilitate people injured by the legacy of the "secret war" and watch the film of Indochinese war period 1960s – 1973s at the Visitor Center. After lunch is free time on your own.

Day 13: Vientiane-Departure. At leisure in the morning until transfer to Wattay Airport for departure.
