At 7am - Meeting at your hotel and start on our travel is to the Salt Lake of Salinas, travel of 3 hours, in our transportation, going close to the base of the Misti Volcano, driving in the Chiguata village, surrounded of pre-Inca terraces, with people dedicated to the agriculture and located over 3000 meters on the sea level, from here we begin to ascend on the antique road to Puno, driving hard in zig zag, between Qeñuales forest trees, the fact that they grow on the skirts of snow-covered one belonging to the Pichu Pichu (5460m). Sights the geological fault of Misti volcano, of the Pichu Pichu, towns dedicated to the work the all pre-Inca terraces, located at the both sides from Chiguata river.

At 10am - We will be at the Salinas Salt Lake, located in National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas, this lake is in the mid way Between Misti - Ubinas volcano and the snow-covered Pichu Pichu.

Trekking around this lake, sighting variety of animal life, specially Andean and migratory birds (Ducks - Condors - Eagles - Flamenco - Hummingbirds - etc), Llamas, Alpacas, Vicuñas, Foxes, savage Rabbits, visit to the hot springs, get-together with the local people and a lot of variety of flora in all the travel.

At 1pm - Time to start our return on the same route, descent becomes of 3 hours to Arequipa city.

- Hat or cap to protect you from the sun
- Sun block (sun protection cream)
- Toiletries, towel and toilet paper
- Selection of small snacks, chocolate, dried fruit, biscuits etc,
- Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries
- Sunglasses
- Optional: walking sticks or poles
