Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: We begin in Colonia Suiza, a little farmer village founded by people from Switzerland who came at the beginning of the XIX century. The forest is mainly coihues and cypress, in the lowest part. Later, when we will get up between 900 and 1.400m the woods are "lenga", a typical Nothofagus from Patagonia. After 2 or 3 hs we get to Lag. Negra mt. hut (1.650m). We will spend the night there facing the Cerro Negro (2200m).

Day 2: We start early in the morning, after a good breakfast. We will climb down the southwest face of the Lluvú valley, this is a very dense vegetation forest with a thin trail. Once we get to the Lluvú creek we will start to climb up the opposite face that we climbed down. Arriving lagoon CAB. If the group is in good shape we will continue, climbing up and cross the cerro CAB heading to the "Valle del Mate Dulce", where we will spend the night. The view is fantastic: CAB lagoon, Brazo Tristeza and several volcanoes like Tronador, Osorno, Lanin.

Day 3: This day we will hike from CAB lagoon or from Valle del Mate Dulce getting to laguna Creton. From laguna Creton you will see laguna Azul (deep blue color) at the South, cerro Punta Negra. This place has a beautiful laguna Azul below us, where enormous walls of granite finish in the water of this little lake.

Day 4: We are going to climb up to the col between cerro Punta Negra and cerro El Capitan, this is a typical rocky trail. In the middle of this hike will appear the laguna Jujuy, is a little lagoon, smaller than laguna Creton. Once we get to this col we will get focused on cerro Tronador and its amazing landscape, below us will be the "magic" laguna Ilon, this lagoon looks like a "pseudo tropical lagoon" in the middle of the Patagonian Andes.

Day 5: Descent from laguna Ilon to Pampa Linda. After 4 hours we arrive to a little Village called Pampa Linda, where is a Rangers station, Hotel and campings. At this place we can spend the night in Hosteria Pampa Linda or even use the installations of the camping (opt to you).

Day 6: This morning we start our day at the foot of Mt Tronador , which is the higher mountain in the area (3554mts). We will hike from Pampa Linda to Glacier Frias Valley (5hs) through the Alerce Valley .This hike goes through the Valdivian Forest (Rain Forest) and through some meadows, at our left we will see the hanging glaciers from Mt Tronador.

Day 7: Easy and short day. Hike beside the Frias Creek for 3 hours getting to the Frias Lake. This river and lake haves a milky and dusty color coming from the sediments that the glacier produces when is sliding forward and breaking grains of ground, stones, etc
Camp close to the Frias Lake. Wait for the boat cruising through the Frias Lake getting to Pto Blest to take a new boat back to Bariloche. Drive to the Hotel.
