Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Cape Town. After arriving at Cape Town we can travel towards Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Boulders Penguins & Cape Point. After lunch we head back to Cape Town via Kommetjie & Chapman’s peak drive, if it’s open for traffic, if we have time we can visit Hout Bay where you can visit a pearl factory before we enter Cape Town (280km). Overnight at Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town. If weather permits we can visit Table Mountain and cable cart. Signal hill. After the mountain we travel towards Stellenbosch visit some of their historical sites & visit some wine farms and cellars for a possible wine tour & some tastings. Late afternoon we can visit the Victoria & Alfred waterfront till after dinner (240km). Overnight at Cape Town.
Day 3: Cape Town. After breakfast we can visit Robben Island and then the afternoon Kirstenbosch botanical gardens before we go to our hotel. Late afternoon we can visit the Victoria & Alfred waterfront till dinner or for dinner. Or a day of Great White Shark cage diving & during August – October Whale watching (150km). Overnight at Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Town towards Johannesburg. After a lovely breakfast we pack our bags and visit Cape Town & the Victoria & Alfred waterfront for the last time before you travel to the airport. You take an afternoon flight to Johannesburg (160km). Overnight at Johannesburg.
Day 5: Johannesburg towards Victoria Falls. After an early breakfast you take a shuttle to or Tambo airport for your flight towards Victoria Falls. A visit to the Victoria Falls and many other excursions. You overnight in Zimbabwe. The accommodation situated close to Victoria Falls and next to a National Park you can expect wild animals grazing on the lawn of the hotel and the Victoria Falls thunder & mist in the background. You can travel to Livingstone in Zambia & visit the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side and & do many other excursions (100km). Overnight at Victoria Falls.
Day 6: Victoria Falls towards Sekoma Lodge. After breakfast you will travel to Kasane in Botswana from where you’ll go by boat through the waterways of Namibia and overnight at Sekoma Lodge on an island based in Zambia on a "Robinson Crusoe" island on the upper Zambezi, Sekoma Lodge is a mere 80 km upriver from Victoria Falls, in the heart of world class tiger fish and bream country. Lying in the eastern corner of the Caprivi strip. Sekoma provides an ideal and affordable base for the keen angler intent on pursuing the world-renowned tiger fish as well as the large bream that abound these waters. There are many miles of productive water, including accessing the exciting floodplains fishing in season, as well as the possibility of experiencing a Zambezi catfish run (290km). Overnight at Sekoma Lodge.
Day 7: Sekoma Lodge towards Kasane. After breakfast you return to Kasane in Botswana & a visit to the well known Chobe National Park. On Botswana's far northern border lies the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe river system forming a series of lakes, islands and floodplains. This area forms the Chobe National Park, famous for its large buffalo and elephant herds. In addition to a variety of predators, there is an abundance of wild game and bird life that decorate these beautiful waterways.
The National Park is the best place in the world to see the majestic African elephant for it is home to the world’s largest elephant population. Game drives into the Chobe National Park depart daily. Accommodation at Kubu Lodge set on the banks on the Chobe River. Take a sundowner on the afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River (300km). Overnight at Kasane.
Day 8: Kasane towards Vic Falls for flight. After breakfast a short trip from Kasane in Botswana into Zimbabwe for your flight back to Johannesburg in South Africa. At Johannesburg you will be shuttle from the airport to your hotel (140km). Overnight at Pretoria.
Day 9: Pretoria towards Graskop. We travel eastwards and cross parts of the Mpumalanga Highveld. Towns such as Witbank (South Africa’s coal capital with more than 22 collieries in its boundaries), Middelburg (Africa’s biggest stainless steel factory is situated next to this town), Belfast (Hadaeco tulip farm, the biggest tulip bulb exporter to Europe), Dullstroom (South Africa’s trout fishing mecca). Lydenburg at the foot of the well-known Long tom pass, Sabie (South Africa’s forestry capital), Graskop is situated on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment and the lowveld with its scenic views, Blyderiver canyon, Bourke’s luck potholes, God’s Window & the Pinnacle. We could overnight at Graskop (450km). Overnight at Graskop.
Day 10: Graskop towards Kruger Park. After breakfast we drive along a scenic road over Kowyn’s pass and drop about 650m within 45km by the time we reach Hazyview, South Africa’s banana capital, our next stop will be one of the Kruger Park gates where we will enjoy the nature and wildlife of this great park. We can arrange a night-drives. Overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the Camps (300km). Overnight Kruger Park.
Day 11: Kruger Park. An early morning game walk before breakfast inside the Kruger Park. After breakfast we will enjoy more of the nature and wildlife of this great park. We can arrange a night-drives. Overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the Camps (200km). Overnight Kruger Park.
Day 12: Kruger Park towards Johannesburg. We can enjoy a morning game drive before we slowly turn westwards towards Johannesburg for your flight back home (500km). Overnight on the airplane.
Total 3110km.
