Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Bula and Welcome to Fiji!

Meet our guide upon your arrival into Nadi International Airport. Your guide will assist you with your luggage, and take you to the domestic departures terminal, where your inter island flight awaits (not included in price).

The 1 hour flight, over beautiful reefs, lagoons and tiny islands, brings you to Savusavu, on the second largest of Fiji's Islands - Vanua Levu. You'll be met by the staff of Koro Sun Resort, and take the short drive up the Hibiscus Highway to your ocean view bure. Relax, and set your watches to "Fiji Time."

Days 2-6: Cultural Adventures

Your Package Includes:

- Medicine Woman Herbal Walk. Learn the secrets of the rain forest, and the amazing pharmacology that resides in Fiji's mystical forests.
- Coral Gardens Snorkel. The cultures of Fiji rely on the bounty from the seas. Get a first hand look at the amazing "banquet" that lies beneath Fiji's shores.
- Dolphin Discovery. Natewa Bay is the largest bay in the South Pacific. Here spinner dolphin pods make their home, jumping waves and playing in the wake of your boat. Snorkel over brilliantly colored soft coral gardens, then afternoon with the villagers on a tiny island, where they've prepared an authentic Fijian feast.
- Pearl Farm Tour. Fiji's black pearls are becoming world renowned, due to their size and varied color diversity. Motor out to the pearl farm to see the growing oysters, and the middle-of-the-water processing farm, where artisans select and polish some of the world's most beautiful black pearls.

- Market Day. It's market day in Savusavu. The sleepy town becomes colorful and bustling. Today the papayas are just a bit brighter, the pineapples a bit juicier, the guavas and mangoes shiny and unblemished. Visit the open air market and see scores of fresh fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, on display for market day.
Also check out the smoldering hot springs that Savusavu is famous for. Locals bring their pots, and root crops, and cook right over he bubbling springs.
- Birdwatching Tour. A three-hour tour with a renowned naturist. Binoculars in hand, check out the colorful endemic birds that make their home in Savusavu. Sunday Church Service. Fijian voices lifted in song is an experience not to be missed. The acappela harmony will enchant and enthrall you.
- Meke and Lovo. A "meke" is a Fijian song and dance celebration, and once a week Koro Sun brings the history of Fiji alive with the indigenous interpretive warrior dances, drum beats and tribal music. Following the meke is a traditional Fijian "lovo" where your dinner is buried underground, producing a wonderful, smoky feast.

Day 7: Departure day

Check out of your resort, and catch your flight back to the main island. You can choose to explore Nadi town, or have us organize a hotel day room for late night departures.
