Be our guest in the most beautiful City in Latin America: your choice of museum and an experience in the Andes. Quito, the Greatest Museums of America, Otavalo gourmet, Cotopaxi National Park or a Thousand Hummingbirds cloud forest. Day 2 and day 3 all are full days of at least 8 hours of exiting visits and interaction.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Airport Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodations with breakfast.

Day 2: Site lecture Oh Hispanic Art of Quito (snack lunch en route). A Site lecture on Hispanic art of the first UNESCO cultural heritage site to admire Flemish school paintings, Spanish baroque style sculptures and monuments designed by the best masters of the Italian Renaissance – Baroque periods. Program includes Plaza del Teatro, San Agustín (1581) and the famous "Chapter Room" where independence was signed, Presidential palace, Independence Square.

You will see the Metropolitan Cathedral with the treasures of the Archbishop (1550), the golden masterpiece of the baroque La Compañía (1605) holding Ecuador's best series of colonial paintings and relics like our lady saint Mariana de Jesus and the image of our Lady of the Sorrow which cried tears of blood in 1906. End up at San Francisco (1535), the biggest Latin America religious art museum and as contrast we visit ultra modern Capilla del Hombre, the bleeding heart of America and priority project for world culture (Sr. Federico Mayor Zaragoza, General Secretary of UNESCO). Includes meals: (B).

Day 3: An Experience in the Andes. First Choice Otavalo market: A rare Otavalo Experience where you will be able to see the famous handcraft market but also you will have the opportunity to meet the artisans at their working places. Remember our textile Industry supported Spanish kingdom for about 300 years. Visits will include the market and the handcraft centers of Calderon, San Antonio and Cotacachi. If time permits, we might even visit a pedal loom workshop.

Second choice The Cotopaxi National Park: A day at the Avenue of the Volcanoes led by a naturalist following the steps of Humboldt, Hikes at different altitudes will take you to the land of the Puma and the white tailed deer. We might see Condors and Ecuadorian Hillstar hummingbirds, we will be pleased to share with you our knowledge of the Andean Paramo at the Cotopaxi National Park or maybe we can also visit the ruins of an old Inca Fortress. Let us introduce you to the land that saw only famous explorers like Humboldt and Whimper. Lunch at Historical monument hacienda.

Third Choice One thousand hummingbirds cloud forest and Solar Them Park: On the western slopes of Pichincha at the edge of the Chocó bio-geographic region and right where the cloud forest begins, our head ornithologist found 60 acres of land and turn them into the sanctuary of hummingbirds. There are days where you can count 3000 individuals of 39 species in his back yard. There are hundreds of little birds of all colors and shapes flying around your head. Lunch will be served in the area at an incredible tree house. In the afternoon and on the way back we stop at the "real" equatorial line to experience what is it really about. Accommodations with breakfast.

Day 4: Transfer out.
