Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Kigali airport, After we proceed in the afternoon to Kinigi the home of mountain Gorillas.
Day 2: Trekking in the forest on the edge of the Virunga mountain chain to find one of the last mountain gorilla families in the world-- back in the afternoon - visit the Diana fossey burial site and transfer to your hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast we proceed to Nyungwe forest for Chimpanzees ,Bleu monkeys and Golden monkeys tracking, will have a short stop in Kibuye or Gisenyi for lunch and to admire the beautiful lake Kivu .
Day 4: Early morning we start the trekking in Nyungwe forest – The forest is noted for its primates: some 13 species inhabit the park, including chimpanzees, Angola colobus, mangabeys, the handsome L'Hoest's monkey, and various other primates. Today you'll depart after breakfast for a hike on trails in the montane forests of Nyungwe. In addition to primates, there are 250 species of forest dwelling birds, including the great blue touraco. For those interested in botany, the flora in Nyungwe comes as an added bonus (there are more than 100 orchid species alone!). Overnight at Gisakura Guest House.
Day 5: Visit of Butare museum where you will be entertained by Rwandan traditional dancer called ‘’Intore’’– overnight in Butare.
Day 6: Morning after Breakfast drive to Bujumbura the capital city of Burundi –arriving late in the afternoon and transfer at the Hotel.
Day 7: Drive after break fast towards Rusizi National park. The park provides a habitat for Hippos, Antelopes, and a wide variety of birds. Back in the afternoon, and relax at the Hotel.
Day 8: After an early break-fast. Drive toward the south to visit “la chute de la Kagera” or “Kagera Falls ”- Back to Gitega in The afternoon – visit the Burundi National museum- transfer at the Hotel- Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Back to Bujumubra- Discovering Bujumbura and its surroundings- Visit the mausoleum of Prince Louis Rwagasore, a hero of the independence of Burundi,
Day10: After Break fast- climb to the “Belvedere” on the top of the hill, a dominating point of the town offering a unique view onto Lake Tanganyika, after Lunch-drive ten kilometres south to visit "la pierre de Stanley et Lingstone" the commemorating stone of the place where the famous explorers Stanley and Livingstone rested during their attempt to find the source of the Nile- Late in the afternoon, transfer at the Lake Tanganyika to relax at Saga Beach and be entertained by Burundi Drummers.
Day 11: Back to Rwanda and transfer To Akagera National park. With a short stop in Nyanza, the historical seat of the ancient Rwandan kings – visit to the Palace and narration of some village elders- Arrive late in the after Noon- Night at Akagera Game Lodge. .
Day 12: Akagera Game Drive- Akagera is a unique piece of wild Africa. The western part of the park features rolling hills with areas of swamp, grassland, and savannah woodlands covering the valleys. The very eastern part is where papyrus swamps crowd around beautiful lakes along the Kagera River. Impala and topi are the most numerous of the antelope and you may see oribi and the magnificent roan antelope as well. Buffalo are very numerous, as are herds of elephants. The birdlife at Akagera is always stunning in its diversity: more than 500 species of birds have been recorded, including the rare shoebill stork and the endangered papyrus gonolek. We'll spend most of the day in the park, with a picnic lunch, then retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge
Day 13: Drive To Kigali after Break Fast- Discovering Kigali and its surrounding, Visit of the Kigali genocide memorial museum, here you will know what happened in Rwanda in 1994- Personal good-bye and, as far as possible, more optional short excursions to nearby attractions such as the markets in Kigali ’s suburbs
Day 14: Shopping in Kigali —Transfer to the airport for departure.

The tariff does not include:
- Air ticket.
- Tourist insurance/ local health insurance

*Reservations:
We require a 40% deposit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the tour.
The balance can be payed upon arrival. For bookings coming one month before departure we shall require the full payment of the tour costs. The payment is made by international money transfer to the company bank account in Rwanda or Burundi.
*Cancellations:
- All cancellation penalties depend on the number of days before tour departure:
- Before 50 days: Full refund
- Between 50 days and 25 days: Refund of 80% of the deposit
- Less than 25 days: No refund
- There is no refund of any unused portion of your tour once commenced.
