You’ll not only learn the difference between organic wine and wine made from organic grapes, but also how this important Portuguese industry of viticulture became what it is today and how Portugal played such an important role. We begin our wine tastings Tour in Lisbon. Throughout the tour we follow for the main wines regions of Lisbon . We’ll pass through varying geographical regions, which make each vineyard different in both the diverse grapes that are grown and also the variations among the varieties they share. We don’t just limit our experience to the tasting room. In order to truly appreciate a wine one needs to encounter its’ origins, sensing the process first hand by walking among the vines, feeling the distinctive climate, learning about the grower and his process, and of course drinking the fruits of his labors.

Your Itinerary:
Day 1, (September 6 / November 4): Arrival day
A company representative will meet clients at the hotel/airport for a welcome drink during which all clients will meet and be introduced. Explanations on the tour and a brochure will be given to all participants. Booking lunch in a restaurant nearby Castelo. After lunch there will be a walking tour in the old Lisbon. Dinner at your hotel. Includes: (D).
Day 2, (September 7 / November 5): Sintra Tour
Departure to Sintra (classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site), visit to the historic downtown, Pena Castle (a rare example of romantic era). Departure to Colares and visit to Colares Cooperative wine cellar for a wine tasting, one of this wines made out of Arenae Ramisco grapes a unique wine in the world only produced in this part of the country. After this, group will be driven to Azenhas do Mar one of the most exclusive fishing villages for lunch. After lunch departure to “beautiful” Cascais where you will have the opportunity to appreciate one of the most wonderful sea views and passing by Cabo da Roca, the most western place in Europe. Walking tour in Cascais downtown and after this return to Lisbon through “marginal”, another scenic road with a beautiful sea and Tagus river view. Visit to Mosteiros dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém , two of the most emblematic Lisbon monuments. Free evening. Includes: (B, L).
Day 3, (September 8 / November 6): Évora Wine Tour
Departure to Évora. Visit to the Old city with a alentejano wine tasting. We lunch in Évora in a typical restaurant. After lunch departure to Herdade do Esporăo. Return to hotel. Includes: (B, L, D)
Day 4, (September 9 / November 7): 3 Castles Tour
Departure to Azeitao. Visit to Quinta da Bacalhoa (with a XVI century palace) and wine tasting. Alternatively we may visit José Maria da Fonseca wine cellar. Departure to Sesimbra, a beautiful fishing village, visit to Castle and lunch in a local seaside restaurant. After lunch our group will be driven to Setubal crossing Arrábida Mountains where you will enjoy the view of one of the most superb scenic road. In Setúbal visit to Castle overlooking the city and ocean. Follows Palmela Castle and after that we will visit in Águas de Moura, Ermelinda Freitas House where we will enjoy a magnificent dinner and wine tasting. Return to hotel. Includes: (B, L).
Day 5, (September 10 / November 8): Lisbon
Around 9.00 a.m. departure to Belém zone. Visit to, Museum dos Coches the most important coach museum of the world (more than 100 years old and lodged in the ancient royal riding-school). Lunch at a restaurant in this area. After lunch the rest of afternoon is free for you to sample Lisbon’s downtown, with its trendy shops and ancient cafés. Dinner at a typical restaurant where the group will be attending to a “fado” show (national song). Includes: (B, D).
Day 6, (September 11 / November 9): Hotel check out and airport transfer. End of our services.
