You will complete your visit to Monkey Island by enjoying the sunset, and then returning to the Lodge for dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7, May 22: Puerto Maldonado. Begin your guided adventure through the rain forest on foot to the Lost Cocha. This area is a unique part of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because its immense swamps and marshes still remain fully intact today. Later, you will arrive at our extraordinary Amazon Watch Tower, built at the top of an immense tree (the Shihuahuaco) from which you can appreciate the full and magical beauty of the rain forest. Also go for a pleasant canoe ride around the lake, return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there is another canoe trip down the river to visit a local family living in the rain forest. Return to the Lodge for dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 8, May 23: Puerto Maldonado - Cusco. Return trip to Puerto Maldonado and the airport for flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel. Day 11, May 26: Machu Picchu - Cusco. We recommend that you wake up early to see the sunrise over Machu Picchu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For those interested, you can return to Machu Picchu for a second observation in the early morning. We must meet at the train station in the afternoon, for our return to Poroy by rail. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of the evening is free. Includes: (B), (L).

Day, 12, May 27: Cusco - Lima. Enjoy a free day about the city of Cusco, maybe do some last minute shopping and explore this Incan town. In Inca times Cusco was both a political capital and religious center. Since the arrival of the Spanish it has been a city of contrasts; where splendid colonial buildings were erected on the foundations of Inca architecture. This beautiful and culturally rich city was declared a World Heritage Site in 1983 by UNESCO, it is also known as the archaeological capital of the Americas. In the afternoon you will be transferred from the hotel to the airport for your flight back to Lima.

Tonight enjoy a private farewell dinner and show at Manos Morenas. In a beautiful early 1900s house in Barranco, this is one of the coolest restaurants in Lima. The name makes reference to the country's small but culturally potent Afro-Peruvian population and its traditions, influences crucial to both the menu and the lively, costumed music-and-dance shows that the restaurant has become famous for. includes: (B), (D).
