Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival you will be met at the airport with garlands. Our
executive would escort you to your hotel Imperial, Similar 5 Star Category Hotel. We would have done a pre check in for you at the hotel which saves you time in the middle of the night.
Day 2: Delhi
Your day would begin after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Then your personal guide takes you to the fantastic sites of old and new delhi. The sites include the Jama Masjid, Raj ghat ( Gandhi’s memorial), Humayun’s tomb and the 12 th centuary qutab Minar. During the day you also drive through the government buildings like the president house, the parliament, India gate and the sikh temple. Evening we seize the opportunity to host you a welcome dinner at the Village Bistro on a rooftop. Overnight at hotel. Includes: (B), (D).
New Delhi begins with the drive past Safdarjang’s Tomb (1753 AD) on the way to Qutab Minar (1193 AD) this striking medieval tower of victory of Persian World is 73 m high. Within the Qutab complex, amidst the ruins of Quwat-ul-Islam mosque, stands the Iron pillar which has stood the vagaries of weather and has not rusted over 1500 years. Then drive through New Delhi includes the Embassy area (Diplomatic enclave), Government buildings, India Gate, Sikh Temple (Bangla Sahib Gurudwara), Birla Temple and Connaught Place, New Delhi’s main shopping area. Visit Humayun’s Tomb - considered to be the fore runner of Taj Mahal.
Day 3: Udaipur
Udaipur is perhaps a unique pre-modern capital in that it has no fort. Coming to life after the final sacking of Chittaur, Udaipur saw an explosive of building activity- temples, palaces and Havelis. Lake Pichola with its two islands-Jagniwas(now the Lake Palace Hotel) and Jagmandir defines Udaipur. The City Palace towers over the lake. The artifical Jaisamand Lake was created in 17th century by damming the Gomti River. There are beautiful chhatries(Cenotaphs) around the embankment. Includes: (B).
After breakfast we drive to Delhi airport to catch a flight to Udaipur 1 hr flight. Upon arrival check in at the lake palace, Udai villas. Rest of the day free for individual activities.
Day 4: Udaipur
Udaipur sight seeing + Boat Cruise. After breakfast, morning tour of Udaipur city includes palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Folk Art Museum ,Jadish Temple. Later in the evening we take a boat ride on Lake Picchola and drive back to the hotel. Dinner at Bagor Ki haveli a lake side heritage property. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Udaipur – Devigarh
After a leisurely breakfast we drive to the nearby Devigarh, a short 45 minutes drive brings you to the spectacle of hospitality in luxury, the Devigarh. Here you have a chance to unwind and enjoy the spa and the ayurvedic massage therapy. We offer you the complete spa package with compliments. Includes: (B).
Day 6-7: Devigarh – Nimaj
After a leisurely breakfast we drive to the serene Nimaj where your stay of 2 nights would give you a sense of rural India with a pleasure of being the guest of the nobles of the region. Your accommodation is in the most comfortable tents overlooking a water reservoir and you taste the most authentic organic food, really a specialty from Nimaj.
Here we take you to the farms where you witness the local farmers in their daily routines. Then visit the village supported by the family to have the first hand information of the life and culture of rural India. The stay at Nimaj gives you a good break from the world. includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8-10: Nimaj – Jaipur
The splendid Fort, Palace of Amber was wrested by the Kachhwaha Rajputs in the mid-12th century who dominated the surrounding area for the next six centuries. Amber was also the prime site of the alliance between the Mughals and the Rajputs. The astronomer-King Sawai Jai Singh II, famous for his Jantar Mantar ascended the throne in 1699. He soon decided to build a new city in the plains: Jaipur was designed according to the principals of the Shilpa - shastra and the capital shifted here in 1727, the city attracted merchants and crafts-people that over time shaped its irresistible bazaar. After breakfast, we continue to drive to the next royal destination, the Pink city. Upon arrival check in at the Raj villas, Ram Bagh for a stay of three nights. The following days have lots of royalty and authenticity to offer. Your personal guide would give you a tour of the city, the monuments and suggest you about dinning and shopping options.
One of the days we host you a lunch at the nearby samode palace, which could be a good excursion for the day. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 11: Jaipur – Ranthambore
Not too Far from Jaipur, in the lap of aravalli and the vindhyan ranges is the erstwhile hunting ground of the rulers of Jaipur, now a tiger project. Ranthambhore is a paradise for those who have love for the jungle and want to see the tigers in broad day light. Upon arrival check in at the Taj Lodge/ Vanya villas. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Ranthambhore
Today we offer you two game drives to chance the royal Bengal tiger and the other species supporting its habitat. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Ranthambore – Agra
After breakfast check out and continue to drive towards agra, en route visit the deserted capital of the great mughal dynasty, fatehpur sikri. Late afternoon arrival and check in at the Amar Villas. Includes: (B).
Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the world built by Emperor Shah Jehan in the memory oh his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This beautiful mausoleum took 22 years to complete with a work force of 20,000. Craftsmen and master builders came from all over Asia to join in the great work – from Baghdad, Shiraz, Delhi, Samarkand and Turkey. The marble, India’s finest; was quarried at Makrana near Jaipur. Precious and semi precious stones were imported from distant lands: Jasper from Punjab, Jade and Crystal from China, Turquoise from Tibet, Lapis from Afghanistan and Ceylon, Chrosolite from Egypt, Amethyst from Persia, Agate from Yemen, Malachite from Russia, Diamonds from Golconda and Mother of Pearl from the Indian Ocean.
Day 14: Agra
Agra: The day starts early as we offer you to visit the great monument by sun rise. After the visit you return to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon the guide takes you to the other breath taking sites from the mughal era, including the Agra fort and itmad-ud-daulah, commonly known as baby taj. After the sightseeing return to the hotel. Includes: (B).
Day 15: Agra – Delhi
After breakfast we continue to drive to Delhi (200 km/ 4 hrs).
We hold the day rooms for you in Delhi at the Radisson hotel, where you rest until your transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight.
