Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Delhi – Managli - Sarchu (222 kms). Depart by morning direct flight form New Delhi to Manali. Upon arrival you will be received by our representative and after freshening up at the airport straightaway drive for Sarchu, passing through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa. Stop for lunch break at Darcha. After Lunch drive to Sarchu through Baralacha Pass (16020 ft). Arrive by evening and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and for leisure activities. Dinner and Overnight stay is at the hotel in Sarchu.
Day 2: Sarchu – Nakeela - Leh (255 kms). Early in the morning at the hotel check our and drive for Leh. Drive through the Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Stop for lunch break at Pang. After the Lunch continue your drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Arrive at Leh by evening. Check into the hotel. Rest of the day is to relax and acclimatize. Dinner and Overnight stay is at the Hotel in Leh.
Day 3: Leh - Pangong (160 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. It is the third highest Motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong Lake by early afternoon. This is the highest Salt Water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Check into the Camp Site. Lunch will be served upon arrival. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Dinner and Overnight stay is at the Camp in Pangong.
Day 4: Pangong – Hemis – Leh (160 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Leh. Enroute visit The Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries and Stok Palace Museum. In the afternoon packed or hot Lunch will be provided. Continue your drive to Leh so as to arrive before evening. Check into the hotel. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel in Leh.
Day 5: Leh – Nubra Valley (Via Khardungla) (120 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day is free to explore Deskit. You may visit the Hunder Villages and do Camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel in Nubra.
Day 6: Nubra Valley – Deskit Monastery - Leh (120 kms). After breakfast in the morning visit the Deskit Monastery. Return back to the hotel to check out and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Arrive and check into the hotel. Later in the evening you have ample time for leisure & sightseeing activities. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel in Leh.
Day 7: Leh - Alchi (70 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Alchi. En route visit Basgo Palace, Liker Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Hall of Fame. Arrive Alchi by afternoon. Check into the hotel / camp at Ule. Lunch will be served upon arrival. Later in the day visit Alchi monastery and leisure activities and explore Alchi village. Dinner and Overnight stay is at the camp / hotel in Alchi / Ule
Day 8: Alchi – Lamayuru - Kargil (160 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Kargil. En route visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, also visit the mesmerizing Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh). Arrive Kargil by evening to check into the hotel / camp. Dinner and overnight stay is at hotel
Day 9: Kargil – Sonamarg - Srinagar (204 kms). After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Srinagar. En route visit Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2 Coldest Inhabitated place in the World). Enjoy the magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) continue drive to Srinagar so as to reach by the evening. Check into the deluxe Houseboat on the Dal / Nagin Lake. Dinner overnight stay is at the houseboat.
Day 10: Srinagar – Delhi - Onward destination Fly back. After breakfast at the houseboat in the morning go for full day sightseeing of Srinagar visiting Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Return back to the hotel to check out to be transferred to the airport to board your flight back to Delhi. Depending on your onwards travel plans you will have time for leisure and shopping activities in Delhi. Later transfer to the airport to connect for your flight for your onwards destination. Fly back to your home with the everlasting memories of magnificent glimpses of Ladakh.
