Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Douala and night there.
Day 2: Travel from Douala to Yaounde by train. On arrival visit interesting sites in Yaounde such as monuments (Charles Atanga monument, Reunification monument), the national Museum and the conference centre. Departure from Yaounde to Ngaoundere in the evening by train.
Day 3: Arrival at Ngaoundere and drive to the Benoue National Park by road through the beautiful landscape of North Cameroon.
What to see in the Benuoe. National Park: Hippopotamus, large antelopes such as the Derby Eland, water bucks and Bufon Kobs, a variety of primates, beautiful binds. A walk through the dry and rocky beds of River Benoue. And spend the night in the boukaros enjoying the fantastic sounds of nature.
Day 4: Departure from Benoue National Park by land to Maroua via Garoua.
What to see on the way: Visit to Lagdo Dam (an artificial lake), viewing of extensive. Cotton farms, visiting of the Garoua River Port, a unique feature) in the heart of the Sahelian region of Africa. The bus meanders through rocky slopes dotted with sahelian shrubs. Night at Maroua.
Day 5: Departure from Maroua to Pouss and Maga Dam and back to Maroua.
What to see: Admire the gigantic Mindif Rock and the beautiful scenery of the adjoining areas; admire the dome-shaped structures of the mindif; visit rcie farms adn sprawling fishing villages.
Day 6: Visit blackmiths and leather tanning centers before departing from Waza National Park which is the most visitor park in Central Africa because of its unique richest in wildlife species such as elephants, lions, large antelopes (wan antelopes, heartbeasts, Buffon Kobs), austriches (largest bird) and other numerous birds.
Day 7: Spend early hours of the day in the Waza Park before departing to Rhumsiki via Koza Pass
What to see: Visit Palace traditional ruler of Mozogo with his fifty wives, hundreds of children and unique architectural design and admire the rocky Koza Pass en route to Rhumsiki and night) in the boukarous palace at Wangai.
Day 8: Trekking through Rhumsiki and its environs.
What to see: Spiky Mchirguire mountain and the adjoining lunar landscape; Rhumsiki cave believed to be the hideout during times of war in the past; craft making center (cotton-weaving, pottery, tannery, basket weaving). Visit the witch doctor and night.
Day 9: Departure from Rhumsiki resort to Kila
What to see: Discovery of the rich culture of the Kirdis (Kapiki) Night in traditional ruler.
Day 10: Trekking to Moor and night in traditional ruler’s palace.
What to see: More cultural attributes and scenic beauty.
Day 11:Trek back to Rhumsiki and departure to Garoua for the night
What to see: Rocky lunor landscape along the Nigerian border.
Day 12: Departure from Garoua to Attantika and night in traditional palace to Wangai.
What to see: Discovery of the Atlantika mountains with the indigenous population made up of the Koma tribe, who are still pristine.
Day 13: Departure to Ngaoundere and visit of the lamido’s palace and travel by train to Yaounde by night.
Day 14: Departure from Yaounde to Douala by train and flight from Douala at night.
