Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival.
You will be received and welcomed to Uganda by our company representative, and transfer to your accommodation for your resting. If your flight arrives early, you may opt to have a city tour all around Kampala visiting cultural places, traditional places and historical sites. Dinner and overnight at Olympia guest house – Kampala. Luxury - Hotel Africana - Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala – PNV Rwanda.
After early morning breakfast, we depart to Kisoro which is around a 9 - 10 hours journey. With a stop at the craft village at the equator for pictures and shopping, we continue for lunch and later proceed to Kisoro then cross to Rwanda and head for Kiinigi guest house for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: PNV - Gorillas Tracking
After breakfast with packed lunch, Hikers will love the adventure of tracking the gorillas in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. As gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will actually hike. It may take up to 8 hours, and you should be prepared to a walk long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. Anyone who has made the trek will be quick to say that in any circumstances the thrill of seeing the gorillas makes it all worthwhile. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these gentle giants. Dinner and overnight at Kiniigi guest house.

Day 4: PNV - Bwindi Impenetrable Park–Birding
Early morning after breakfast then transfer to Bwindi arriving this afternoon. After lunch go for Birding at Ruhija site where you will view different species of birds for the whole evening. Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Buhoma community bandas - Bwindi.

Day 5: Bwindi - Gorilla Tracking For the Second Time
After early breakfast, with your packed lunch go for a briefing at 08:00 hours before beginning the treck. Gorilla trecking is unpredictable, so it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. It may take 2-8 hours, and you should be prepared to walk a long distance in steep, muddy, sometimes rainy conditions, before you encounter any gorillas. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these gentle giants. Later return for dinner and overnight at Buhoma community camp Bandas.

Day 6: Bwindi - Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast,transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park, passing through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland of Uganda". With lunch enroute, enter Ishasha Sector where you may be lucky to spot the Tree Climbing Lions, arrive late afternoon, check in you will bird one of the interesting trails this evening. We can bird around the peninsular, airstrip down to the bird hide encountering species such as the Yellow, Grey Wag-tails, Pin-tailed Whydahs, Red headed Quelea, Black Winged and Southern Red Bishop, Blue Napped Mouse birds, Warblers and Canaries at the hide see the Pin-tailed see the Painted, Common Snipe, Black Crakes, Ruffs, Little Stint and other Waders, return for dinner and overnight at the Institute of ecology hostels/guest house.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Avery early game drive to the northern parts of the park an excellent game viewing area but also has much to offer the birder as we move through open grassy plain which support large flocks of White and Abdims Stork as well as Woolly necked and spectacular Saddle Billed Stork during the migratory season, Raptors are well represented, the Brown Snake Eagle, Whalbergs Eagle, Bateleur, African harrier-hawk, Marshal Eagle, Grey Kestrel, are frequently seen. Lion kills attract up to six species of vultures including White backed, Ruppell’s Griffons and the Immense Lappet Faced Vultures, Senegal, Crowned and African Wattled Plovers are numerous in the short grassland. Return for Lunch, after lunch, take the boat launch which will reveal hundreds of migratory bird species such as the Grey Headed Gulls, White Winged Black Terns, African skimmers, Morning Dove, Water Dikkops, Great white and Pink-Backed Pelicans etc… and thousands of Hippos. Return for Dinner and overnight at Institute of ecology hostels/guest house.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you have 2 options:
- You visit Kyambura Wildlife Reserve, Driving through grassland area, all of a sudden we come across an amazing gorge of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep. Hike into Kyambura River Gorge for an unforgettable experience trecking chimpanzees. It's a rewarding experience not only to see the chimpanzees, but also to see the beautiful river valley that houses numerous birds and butterfly species. This is an excellent place to see the spectacular Black Bee Eater hawking insects from exposed perches eyeing the canopy. A walk down into the gorge may produce widespread forest species like: Black and African Emerald Cuckoo, Speckled Tinker Bird, etc…

- OR You visit the Maramagambo forest for a nice Forest Walk in one of the typical savanna forests, visit the bat caves and old elephant holes, watch out for birds as well, and you be lucky to spot some African Rock pythons as they come around to feed on the bats in the caves, return for lunch. After any of the above, have lunch and then transfer to you will then transfer to Kibale - Fortportal, arriving this evening for a Check in at Rwenzori View Guest House for Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Primate Walk and Birding
Early morning breakfast, proceed for a primate walk which is rewarding to a primate lover, Chimps, Monkeys and many more are a must to spot as we bird, species such as the blue breasted kingfisher, black billed Turaco, a variety of Greenbuls, white napped pigeon, Narina’s Trogon, Pied Hornbill, Purple headed and Chestnut winged Starlings, white headed wood hoopoe, Petit's cuckoo shrike, and many more may be seen. Return for lunch, After lunch, proceed to Magombe swamps for as swamp walk at Magombe swamp this is an excellent place to see some of the special birds endemic to this habitat such as Marsh Tchagra, Papyrus Gonolek, Papyrus canary, White winged warbler, other distinct possibilities are White spotted fluff tail, Blue headed coucal, Spectacular yellow billed barbet and scaly – throated honey-guide.
Later retire for dinner and overnight at the Rwenzori View Guest House for Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Visit Semliki NP, Pygmies and Hotsprings
Have early breakfast; visit the hot springs in Bwamba forest, the walk offers interesting things to see, abundant bird life and plants, then crown then afternoon with Pygmies at the edge forest. They will perform and sing for you. Lunch today is picnic and packed from the overnight guesthouse and later returns for overnight and dinner at Rwenzori view guesthouse

Day 11: Transer from Fortportal to Murchison Falls
Early breakfast then start this journey with limited stops, lunch at Masindi Court View Hotel, then drive to the Top of The Mighty Falls. While at the top of the falls, you view water falling in over 45 meter gorge with mist forming the colors of the rain bow. At the falls, you lookout for the Horus Swifts among the mixed flocks of Swifts, Rock Pranticoles may be seen hawking insects, African Pied wag-tail, Red-winged Grey warblers, Brown Twin Spots, in the thicker riparian vegetation. Check in early evening at Red chillie rest camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Full Day at Murchison Falls National Park for Wildlife and Birding
Have breakfast and proceed on a game drive which will reveal species such as a Silver bird, a common species breeding in this park, Carmine bee-eaters, Red throated and Swallow tail Bee-Eaters, Northern wheat-ears, Raptors such as the Tawny, and Steepes Eagles, Snake Eagles, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl, Martial Eagle, Yellow Billed Ox Peckers, Grey Headed Kingfishers, and Shoebills along the Delta Track, Namaqua, Black Billed Wood Dove, Vinaceous Doves, Only found in this park and many more species plus kobs, giraffes, lions and elephants.

Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, take a boat launch to the foot of the magnificent Murchison falls as we lookout for the Goliath, Purple Herons, Water Thick-knee, Shoebill Stork on the floating Island, Lesser and African Jacana, Giant Kingfisher, Red throated Bee-eater nesting on the face of the Nyamsika cliff, Rock Pranticoles at the foot of the Falls, African Fish Eagle, Lots of Hippos and Huge Nile Crocodiles. Return to the Red chillie rest camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Game Drive Then Transfer to Kampala
Early game drive to the northern sector searching for animals and birds then return for breakfast and then pack your bags for Kampala. Lunch at Masindi then head for Kampala arriving late afternoon to relax at the Olympia guest house – Kampala.

Day 14: Visit the Mabamba Swamps
Early morning breakfast, with packed lunch boxes we drive to Mabamba swamps for the Shoebill and other wetland specialist such as the common Moorhen, Swamp Hen, Allen’s Gallinule, and African Water Rail, Lesser Jacana, African Pygmy Goose and the rare and endangered Blue Swallow has also been reported in the area etc. Birding here is done canoeing.

Day 15: Birding around Entebbeand Visiting Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Early morning breakfast you will be led to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre for some birding and wildlife viewing. At the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, there are primates as well and many birds. This is a spot for many birds boosting over 170 species with about 7 species of weavers such as the rare Northern Masked Weaver, Orange Weaver, and Golden Backed Weaver etc… Lunch at Restaurant then afternoon birding at Sophie’s Motel.

Day 16: Departure
Breakfast, then take a flight back home and you will be seen off by the company representative.
