Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Meeting Point/Treviso/Valdobbiadene. Meet and greet with our guide at a predetermined meeting point and departure to Treviso. Along the way we will reach a country-house located amongst vigorous wineyards. Here surrounded by the relaxing venetian countryside you will have your first meeting with Prosecco wine, matched with Grana Padano’s cheese pieces and other delights. Arrival at Treviso for walking visit and stop at “trattoria” for lunch with typical products. Depart to Valdobbiadene: walking visit of historical centre. Departure to agritourism (family run guesthouse). Here surrounded by the scents of wineyards you will enjoy a dinner with homemade products. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Asolo/Conegliano/aldobbiadene. Morning departure to Asolo. This city is beautifully located and is dominated by an enchanting fortress. Walking visit and lunch at local restaurant. Departure to Conegliano. Along the way stop at wine-cellar, where you will have the chance to enjoy the secrets of our hills and tasting the local prosecco wine with savoury snacks. Arrival in Conegliano, city of charming architecture works and well preserved frescos on the facades of the houses. A walk across the historical centre of Conegliano. Back to the agritourism, where another relaxing evening it will wait you. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Bassano/Marostica/Montegrotto Terme. Morning departure for Bassano del Grappa. A walk around to see this lovely city and stop in a distillery near the famous bridge for the tasting of typical “grappa” Nardini (distilled liqueur from grapes), with its intense and pleasurable taste. The “grappa Nardini” can be defined “the mother of all grappe”. Lunch at local restaurant. Leave for Montegrotto Terme and surroundings. Along the way stop at Marostica. This village is closed within walls that run between two castles. In front of one castle is the famous chessboard, where every year a live chess game is played. Walking tour of this city. Evening arrival at Montegrotto Terme and surroundings. Accommodations at a hotel in the area, characterized by several thermal structures. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Colli Euganei/Montevenda/Montagnana. Morning departure and short tour of Euganean Hills, through the natural paths and wineyards to Monte Venda, where it is still possible to see the ruins of The Olivetani Monastery. Stop at local farmhouse to taste typical wine, cold cuts and cheese of the Euganean Hills. Visit and wine-tasting at local winery. Lunch at local restaurant. Arrival in Montagnana, one of the most famous known walled cities in Europe and known also for its “Prosciutto Dolce di Montagnana” (Sweet Ham of Montagnana). Short stop to taste this sweet ham with its pink color and delicate flavour. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure transfer, that will bring you back to the initial meeting point. End of services.
