Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. Our representative will make sure that you are booked in for your domestic flight to Blantyre. Upon arrival at Blantyre's Chileka Airport you will be transferred to the luxurious Mount Soche Hotel, Hotel Victoria or Ryalls Hotel where you will stay over night.
Day 2: Start your Malawi adventure with a tour of the evergreen Tea Estates and a visit to the Majestic Mulanje Mountain the highest mountain in central Africa. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Likhubula pools or a light lunch at the Thyolo Sports Club. Time to shop- buy some of Malawi's outstanding handcrafts on your visit to the weaving factory. Say goodbye to the city when you leave for the town at the foot of the mountain Zomba. A picturesque and exciting drive will take you up to Zomba plateau. Ku Chawe Inn your hotel for the next two days promises to be one of the highlights of your tour. Enjoy a romantic evening in front of the fire in your room or watch the sun set from the terraces in the garden.
Day 3: Start the morning with the refreshing morning walk through the forest, followed by the tour of the town and market below. The afternoon tour of Zomba Plateau, with its breathtaking views, will create an opportunity for some spectaculars photography. Overnight at Ku Chawe Inn.
Day 4: Leave the mountains for one of the Malawi's premier National Parks- Liwonde National Park. Proceed to Mvuu Camp by road or by boat cruise from Kudya Discovery Lodge up to Shire River, which introduces you to the inhabitants of the river|: the many hippos and big crocodiles. Arrive at Mvuu Camp in time for lunch. Your first night safari in Liwonde might bring you face-to-face with the king of Africa-the lion. Experience a real African dinner and overnight at Mvuu Camp.
Day 5: All creatures, great and small, from the herds of elephants to the colorful kingfisher can be seen on the early morning guided boat safari. Your last boat trip will take your across to the western bank where you will board your bus. Finally it is time to see the Lake of Stars as you travel to the southern lake shore resorts-Nkopola Lodge or Club Makokola.
Day 6: Enjoy a day at leisure, relax in the sun on the golden beaches or visit the craft market in the village. Plenty of water spots options that are available, from para, sailing to scuba diving will keep the energetic busy. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 7: The day will be spent at the world famous Cape Maclear in the Lake Malawi National Park. Enjoy the lovely beaches, see the fish eagles sweeping in for the kill, and snorkel with the many colorful tropical fish on the off- shore islands. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: It is time to say farewell to the warm Heart of Africa. Depart for Lilongwe and enjoy your farewell lunch at Lilongwe Hotel. Proceed to the Airport for your departure flight.
