We will pick you up at Launceston Airport and bring you to the quiet, historic village of Evandale. The next day we cross the rolling, green hills of the north-east, with rain forests and many hidden places to discover. After a night in Scottsdale, we first visit the woodcarvings in Legerwood. After a cycling on a narrow windy road through dense rain forest it goes downhill for 10 km. We stay in the little farming community of Pyengana, where we visit the 90 m high St. Columba Falls the next morning.
It’s just a half a day ride to the east coast capital of St. Helens. Here we spent 2 nights to enable you to explore the stunning surrounding including the famous Bay of Fires or the Peron sand Dunes. Afterwards we go south on the coast road until Bicheno. The following day we will do the walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout in the visit famous Freycinet National Park. In the afternoon you cross a lagoon with a tiny boat (weather permitting) and cycle directly on the 9-Mile-Beach!
We continue to cyle down the beautiful coast road. Next day we explore the many natural wonders of the Peninsula and the historic penal settlement of Port Arthur or a cruise along one of Australian most beautiful coastlines. Next stop is Hobart with it's cosmopolitan feel and special flair. It is unlike most big cities. If you continue on our west coast trip you will have an extra day in Hobart to soak up the fantastic atmosphere.
