Kayaking and mountain bike - Manso inferior river Bariloche. Riding along Steffen lake, Manso Inferior river and trails with swinging bridges to the Chilean border. We start our tour riding national route 258 to Steffen lake on our mountain bike, after a short break we take a wonderful road through a unique forest. Then we take the boats (duckys) and we paddle through the white waters of Manso river. After 4 hs of paddling we stop for camping at a nice and calm spot by the river. The following day we continue our biking tour along the river coast line (two swinging bridges trail) to the border crossing with Chile.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Early in the morning we set off from Bariloche heading to Mascardi lake on route 258 with the van. At the lake we start our mountain biking tour for about 15 km on pavement, then we take the road to Steffen lake. At midday we have lunch by the lake. Then we change our biking gear for the kayak and we get ready to start paddling in Manso river. After 4 hs of cruising we stop for camping by the river. we have dinner and a friendly chat by the bonfire before we get to sleep.

Day 2: In the morning after breakfast we start our biking tour by the Manso river to the Chilean - Argentine border line, crossing the river over swinging bridges. At midday we have lunch by the river. After resting for a while we continue until we reach the border line, this is a very interesting point because the line crosses in the middle of a garden of a settler. On our way back we stop for a tea with homemade cakes with forest fruits of the area. Then we return to Bariloche.
