Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: New Delhi/Kolkata/Guwahati/Shillong
Pick- up by Car from Guwahati Airport to be taken to Shillong, branded as the “Scotland of the East“ by the British. Covering a distance of 131 km over a drive of 3.5 hrs along winding roads, its an experience of unforgettable beauty. Check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Excursion Cherrapunjee and Back
Start the day at 730 am with a full day trip to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on earth. Visit Shillong Peak, Elephanta Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mousamai Cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Back to Shillong in late afternoon. On arrival at Shillong, visit the markets in the Mall, Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Excursion Smit Village and Back
Start the day at 8am for a full day trip to Smit Village. Visit the village Shnonh Pdeng Take a walk and visit the Sacred Groves and also see a hanging bridge. Enjoy the ethnic lunch. After lunch visit Pyrnursla, the village famous for betel nut and betel leaf. Back to the hotel by 7pm. Night Halt at The Royal Heritage – Tripura Castle Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Shillong To Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati. Check in at the hotel Coronate Dynasty. After lunch visit Kamakhya Temple. Enjoy the evening river Cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Night halt at Hotel coronate Dynasty, Guwahati. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Guwahati/New Delhi/Kolkata
After Breakfast Depart to Guwahati Airport for onward destination. Tour ends.
