The Itinerary:
Day 1: San Jose – The Central Valley. Upon arrival to Costa Rica one of our representatives will meet you at the airport for assistance with luggage and handling and escorted private transfer to the San Gildar Hotel in San Jose for a one night stay with breakfast included.
Day 2: Arenal Volcano National Park. Mini-van shuttle bus transportation and scenic drive to the Arenal Volcano National Park. Upon arrival, check in for a 2-night stay at the Arenal Paraiso Hotel (standard rooms) with daily breakfast included. According to your preference, in the afternoon enjoy your selection of an activity in the Arenal area.
Day 3: Arenal Volcano National Park. In the morning, enjoy your second selection of one activity in the Arenal area. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy additional activities.
Day 4: Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Check-out from your hotel for a short drive to the Arenal Lake. Then, enjoy a 40-minute boat ride to Tilaran. Upon arrival, land transfer to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Check-in for a two-night stay in Monteverde at the Montana Monteverde Hotel (standard rooms) with daily breakfast included. According to your preference, in the afternoon enjoy your selection of an activity in the Monteverde area.
Day 5: Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. In the morning, enjoy your second selection of one activity in the Monteverde area. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy additional activities.
Day 6: Manuel Antonio National Park. Morning check-out from your hotel for a mini-van shuttle bus drive to the Manuel Antonio beach, located on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Check-in at the California Hotel (standard rooms) for a 2-night stay with breakfast is included.
Day 7: Manuel Antonio National Park. In the morning, enjoy your selection of one activity in the Manuel Antonio area. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy additional activities.
Day 8: San Jose. Morning check-out from your hotel for a mini-van shuttle bus drive back to San Jose. Upon arrival, check in at the San Gildar Hotel in San Jose for your last night stay with breakfast included. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy additional activities.
Day 9: This morning, one of our representatives will meet you at the hotel for a transfer to the International Airport for your return flight.
What to bring: Casual clothing suggested for daytime or evening activities. Hiking shoes, bathing suit, binoculars, beach sandals, suntan lotion, hat, insects repellent, camera, long pants, sweater and lightweight jacket.
