This snow shoe trek goes from one lodge to another, crossing the Dolomitic valleys. We enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the most captivating points of observation: the mountain lodges in the enchanting winter atmosphere. In them you can enjoy of half-board service, allowing you to carry a very light backpack.
The selected itinerary combines the beauty of the region with its cultural and historical highlights. We will be passing through the areas in which you'll find remnants of the First World War, like canons and galleries built inside the mountains. These commemorate the bravery of the soldiers who mostly lost their lives to the adverse mountain conditions.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Meeting in Corvara.
Day 2: From Corvara we snow shoe across the Altiplano Pralongià- Set Sass mountains to the location of Armentarola.
Day 3: From the Armentarola we snow shoe to the Capanna Alpina to the Lago di Lagazuoi and we arrive to the Rif. Lagazuoi.
Day 4: From the Rif. Lagazoui we hike across the Forcella del Lago and Alpe di Fanes Grande to the Rifugio Fanes.
Day 5: From the Rifugio snow-shoe to the top of the Monte Sella di Fanes or another depending on the snow conditions.
Day 6: From Rif. Fanes we descend to the location of Pederù and from here we hike up to the Rif. Sennes.
Day 7: From Rif. Sennes we snow-shoe across the Malga Ra Stua forest to the location of Fiames. From here we take a trail besides the Boite river arriving in the center of Cortina D’Ampezzo.
Day 8: Breakfast and departure.

- 4 nights half board accommodation in Refugio in dormitory,
- 3 nights b and b double room accommodation in Alta Badia and Armentarola, snow shoes.
