The Dolomiti Super Ski carousel is the jewel in the crown of what's on offer in the Dolomites: 1200 km of pistes, 460 lifts and 475 interconnected pistes. From Cortina d'Ampezzo to Plan de Corones in the Alta Badia, from Val Gardena and the Alpe di Siusi to Val di Fassa and Carezza, to Arabba, Alta Val Pusteria and Val di Fiemme. And from San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle to Valle dell'Isarco, the Tre Valli, the Civetta group and the newest addition, the Marmolada, Queen of the Dolomites.Ski in the Marmolada, Sella, Tofane, Cristallo mountain ranges. Skiing descents such as the Val Mezdi (1370m of vertical drop); the Creste Bianche in the Cristallo mountain range (1500m of vertical drop); the Marmolada glacier (1810m of vertical drop).
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Corvara in Alta Badia and meet with the guide at the hotel.
Days 2-6:
* On Piste Skiing
- Sellaronda or Giro dei 4 Passi (4 passes round trip): a circuit around the Sella Range, through out the 4 different valleys of Alta Badia, Livinallongo, Fassa and Gardena.
- Marmolada: it is the Queen of the Dolomites as it is the highest peak (3078 m) and the only big glacier where you can find the best powder snow for skiing.
- Cortina D'Ampezzo: famous around the world for the beauty of its mountains that surround this charming mountain town. From the Tofane to the Cristallo and from the 5 Torri to Faloria Ski centres.
* Off-piste skiing
- Val Mezdi, Sella Group: off-pist skiing in Alta Badia, Val Gardena and Val di Fassa.
Vertical drop: 1400 m.
Technical difficulty: dubbed the "Valle Blanche of the Dolomites", the Val Mezdi a classic and wonderful 1220 mts downhill in a typical Dolomite surroundings.
- Val Setus, Sella Group
Vertical drop: 1400 m.
Technical difficulty: hard. It is very difficult to know the right way into the couloir. Steep, up to 40°.
- Piz Boč Vallon+Val Litres, Sella Group
Vertical drop: 1500 m.
Technical difficulty: not so hard but very difficult to find the right passages between the various rock walls.
You can also chose to do snowshoeing or ski trekking.
Day 7: Breakfast and departure.
