The tour commencing in Christchurch starts gently enough, with the open beauty of the Canterbury Plains, then through rolling countryside which gradually opens up into the expansive Mackenzie Basin. As you continue though historic gold mining towns you will arrive at Queenstown, the outdoor adventure capital of New Zealand.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: You will be met on arrival at Christchurch airport and transferred to your accommodation. We then have a scenic afternoon tour of this picturesque 'Garden City'.
Day 2: Christchurch to Geraldine - Cycling from: Mt. Hutt to Geraldine - 80km.
Day 3: Geraldine to Lake Tekapo - 91km biking.
Day 4: Lake Tekapo to Omarama - 87km biking.
Day 5: Omarama to Cromwell - 112km.
Day 6: Cromwell to Queenstown - 60km biking.
Day 7: Queenstown (Rest Day). For those that have joined the Tour for the first 7 days only, this is your departure day.
