Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Home Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be taken to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Today features an excursion to the Great Wall and Ming tomb. Tonight, enjoy an amazing Acrobatic Show. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Beijing. Today you visit Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. Tonight you depart for Lhasa aboard the new Beijing-Lhasa train in a sleeper cabin. (B, L, D)
Day 5: En Route (on train). The train ride continues as you enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Dining car is open for all your meals (which you must buy on your own).
Day 6: Lhasa. Upon arrival in the evening, your local guide will take you to your hotel.
Day 7: Lhasa. Todays touring features Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Bajian Street and Norbu Linka. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Lhasa / Gyantse / Shigatse. You leave Lhasa this morning and visit Yang Zhuo Yong Lake, Snow Mountain and Baiju Temple before you check in to your hotel in Shigatse. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Shigatse / Lhasa. This morning, you visit magnifi cent Tashilumpo Monastery and the colorful local market before returning to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Lhasa / Chengdu. You catch a morning fl ight to Chengdu and upon arrival, your guide will take you to your hotel. This afternoon, you visit Wolong Panda Research Center. (B, L, D)
Day 11: Chengdu / Shanghai. This morning you fl y to Shanghai. In the afternoon, you will visit Yu Garden, the Bund, and Nanjing Road which is famous for its great shopping. (B, L)
Day 12: Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai. Today, you day-trip to Suzhou where you visit the Garden of Humble Administrator, Tiger Hill, Lion Grove, and one of Chinas best silk embroidery factories. (B, L, D)
Day 13: Shanghai / Home. Depart for home or your next destination. (B)
