The Sawtooths are referred to as the American Alps. Their young, unworn, rocky peaks and alpine lakes are an astounding introduction to the beauty of Central Idaho. Known as "The River of No Return" the Salmon River originates in the Sawtooths and flows through a vast wilderness forming the second deepest gorge on the continent. Wildlife abounds around this wild river and we’ll traverse this rugged territory taking in the breathtaking views all along the way.
