Here, amid the world's mightiest mountains, we have the chance to watch the sun rise over Mount Everest, learn about the natural wonders of the area in the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and visit bazaars and centuries-old monasteries; our extraordinary India adventure has truly begun.
From Gangtok, capital of the Sikkim region, via the country capital of Delhi, and on to Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal, our journey leads though diverse topography, varied cultures and a myriad of historic and religious attractions. Where February/March departures coincide with Jaipur Elephant Festival, November departures visit Pushkar Camel Fair for a special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience India in full colour.
