Due to the particular location of Ecuador, right at the equatorial line and its biological diversity, it became the perfect environments for developing a magical relationship between ancient Indian religions and medicine. Our experience includes visits to the magical Pucaras (energy focus spots) and pyramids at the Intiñan (Path of the Sun). Clients will experiment Shamans from the Tzáchila (Colorados) tribe at the western lowlands, San Juan de Ilumán in the central Andes and the Kichwua – Shuar in the heart of the Amazon where white man has never being before.
Our Basic program has 10 days 9 nights and includes a visit to the Equator Solar Theme park, the Pyramids and Pucarás. Continue to the awakening valley and Sarance home of the antique Cuasmal and Tuncahuan, and Caranqui confederation at our Integration period, the second stage is at the Eastern cloud forest with the Tzachilas a Caribbean group that arrived to Ecuador in remote ages and the main course is the 3 nights stay in the heart of the Amazon, an area full of history and legends where Shamans settled. This will be an encounter with the wisest men, the Ayahuasca drinkers (Yachaks). Clients can participate in the Ayahuasca ritual for the psychological and physical balance, the mystic universe of magical realism.
Accommodations in Quito will be at our best 4 star hotel in Quito with breakfast, a colonial manor in the area of Otavalo, an eco lodge and natural reserve in the cloud forest and finally in the Amazon you will be guests at the homes of the Shamans and their families. All meals included outside of Quito.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer in. Alameda Real and Buffet Breakfast.
Day 2: Quito/ Solar theme park/ Cochasquí/ San Pablo. Colonial Manor and all meals.
Day 3: Otavalo Indian Market/ Quito. Alameda Real and Buffet Breakfast.
Day 4: Quito/ Santo Domingo/ Chiguilpe. Accommodations at Eco-lodge and natural Reserve with all meals.
Day 5: Santo Domingo/ Historical monument in Cotopaxi. Hostería la Ciénega with all meals.
Days 6-8: La Ciénega/ Shell Mera. Sarayacu with all meals at the community.
Day 9: Sarayacu/ Quito. Alameda Real and Buffet Breakfast.
Day 10: Transfer out.
