Chimporazo Mountain Sites:
* Black Stones. Is a half-day mild trek to two huge granite stones from where you can see the most important sights of the Inter Andean Valley.
* Machai Holy pre – Inca Shrine. Is a natural cave formed after a lava flow about 10.000 years ago. Since the beginning of times they used this cave as an approach to the heart of the main god heart. People bring different gifts in pilgrimage. The site is located at 4800 mt on Chimborzo.
* Lord of the Rings Polylepis forest. On top of a hill in front of Chimborazo there is a rock formation where the most rare tree of the Andes remains. This is probably the highest forest on earth. The tree is also called 1000 papers tree.
* Lonely Tree. Very close to the snow line of Chimborazo there is gorge where we can see all the geological ages of the Andes, it is also home of a very rare tree that grew in the middle of "nothing", just sand and is considered an ecological miracle.
Other important Attractions are Portions of the Inca Road, Inca Fortress, Wild Vicuńas, Alpacas, the Puruhá Indian communities, including the legendary Ice Peckers.
