The 'Costiera Amalfitana' is an area of sensational coastal scenery of limestone cliffs, serpentine roads and terraced lemon groves. Hillside villages and remote monasteries have long been connected by a series of ancient footptaths which are popular excursion routes for walkers.

Visitors are rewarded with stunning views of the Meditteranean coastline whhose 'Lattari' mountains rise nearly 5000 feet steeply from the deep blue sea. Wildflowers decorate the hillsides in spring and cyclamen carpet the woods in autumn.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Pick up at Naples airport

Days 2 - 7:
We will be painting around fishing harbours, coastal views, gardens, architecture with street & alleyways, and an area where lemons grow in abundance.

Some of the sights we will visit are Amalfi, Capri, Ravello and Positano. The day in Capri will be by boat and will be mainly an excursion day with sketching, photographing and shopping.

Day 8: Transfer to Naples airport, Departure by minibus

Our host, Tuscany in the Frame, Raffaele Nobile, is Italian/English speaking. He has 25 years of experience running his own businesses, is a keen painter, and will be available throughout your stay. Relax and let him take care of everything while you paint with Jann.

Jann Pollard will be the painting instructor. Open to all levels of artists and in any medium. We will be capturing the moment through photos, sketches and small, plein air paintings.

Our accommodations are in a 3 star hotel in Minori, on the coast. Meals, including wine are in local trattorias.
