This full day tour will show guests the delights of the Hills. They will be collected from their accommodation. Our guests will then be transported in luxury by their personal wine guide to the summit of Mount Lofty to enjoy panoramic views across Adelaide, Barossa Valley, and the Fleurieu Peninsula. We then travel to Bridgewater Mill, an 1860’s water wheel powered mill. This is also the home to the premium wines of Petaluma. Next we visit Hahndorf Hill Wines, producers of unique boutique food wines from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills.
Their cellar door is nestled in the outskirts of the historic German township of Hahndorf. We stroll down the tree lined main street to have a casual lunch of fresh local produce, and of course wine. Ofter lunch guests will have an opportunity to visit the various shops and producers within this charming village. We then proceed further into the Hills to the township of Woodside, to visit the local cheese wright who makes fresh and aged goats and cows milk cheeses. In Woodside we pause for afternoon tea at a local cafe.
To conclude the day we visit either Tilbrook Estate or Bird In Hand. Guests can chat to the wine maker at these boutique wineries and see the wine making process in action. Guests will be returned to their accommodation after their day of epicurean indulgences.
