Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Saturday. Pick up at airport or your accommodation and check-in Alice Springs Resort. Visit Araluen Arts Center and the Namajira Galley, ending the day with a final briefing.
Day 2: Sunday. Depart Alice Springs for Hamilton Downs Homestead - walk Fish Hole.
Day 3: Monday. Depart for an extraordinary walk along the Larapinta Trail into the back-end of the spectacular Standley Chasm. Transfer to a campsite on Aboriginal country, Angkerle Arrenge, with Jungala Kriss and spend the night around his campfire with family.
Day 4: Tuesday. Day spent walking on Angkerle Arrenge with Jungala and family with focus on culture.
Day 5: Wednesday. Break camp and depart for Section 8 - Serpentine Gorge to Serpentine Chalet over the spectacular Counts Lookout. Transfer to private camp at base of Mount Sonder.
Day 6: Thursday. Day in the desert at our extraordinary campsite under Mount Sonder with our last night soiree around the fire.
Day 7: Friday. Break camp and return to Alice Springs Resort via Ormiston Pound Circuit - an extraordinary walking experience.
Day 8: Saturday. Personal time in Alice before bus link to Alice Springs airport.
