A 15 day escorted, guided tour taking you to some of the best landscapes and scenic locations in southern Norway visiting the western fjord coastline and Trondheim, Alesund, Selje Island, Lilliehammer, Hammar and Oslo. The tale tells how the early Nordic Saints fitted within the planning by Celtic monks to accomplish their goal to establish Celtic Christendom and form a united Norway in the 10thCentury.

Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Collection at Oslo Airport (Gardermoen). Overnight at the Filefjellsteuene Mountain Lodge or the Quality Hotel Ringerike at Honefoss, depending upon flight arrival time. Day 2: Visiting the site of the old St Thomas Church near Fillefjell, then to the iconic Borgund Stave Church, Leardal, Skei, Norwegian Glacier Museum to Loen. Overnight at the superb Alexandra Hotel. Day 3: Visiting Selje Monastery, the Loen Celtic Cross. Overnight at the Alexandra Hotel. Day 4: Enjoying the scenic splendor of Geiranger - with fjord ferry cruise en route to Molde. Overnight at the Rica Seilet Hotel. Day 5: Heading north west over the famous Atlantic Road towards Kristiansund with an visit en route to the stave church at Averoy and overnight at the Rica Hotel Kristiansund. Day 6: Heading inland and then to back to the coast and fjord at Trondheim. Overnight at the Britannia Hotel - probably the city`s finest. Day 7: Exploring in Trondheim, visiting the Nidaros Cathedral. Overnight at the Britannia Hotel. Day 8: Visiting Munkholm Island and perhaps to Stiklestad - the famous battle here 1030 was the most important event in the building of a national monarchy and the definitive breakthrough of Christianity in Norway. Free time in Trondheim. Overnight again at the Britannia Hotel. Day 9: Heading south to visit Roros with its old town center particularly appealing then south to overnight and relax at the Savalen Fjellhotel and Spa. Prospects to meet with the researcher and author who discovered the pentagram and learn first hand about his work. Day 10: Continuing south through the lovely Gudbrandsdal Valley to Lillehammer. Overnight at the Radisson Blu Lillehammer Hotel located beside the Olympic Park. Day 11: Visiting Maihaugen - a paradise for lovers of history. Free time in Lillehammer - site of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Overnight again at the Radisson Blu Lillehammer Hotel. Day 12: Driving to visit Hammar and the famous Hedmarksmuseet with the remains of the Domkirke, an important link in our story. Heading south to reach Oslo - the Viking capital. Overnight at the Thon Opera Hotel. Day 13: Visiting the Bygdoy peninsula by ferry from the town center wharf and the stave church which dates from the 13th century. Plus visits to the Fram and Kon Tiki and the Viking Ships museums. Overnight at the Thon Opera Hotel. Day 14: Visiting other local attractions and in the afternoon free time in the City.
