This tour event is created by a young Italian couple Mr Andrea, executive chef patron, and his wife Lara, restaurant manager and sommelier, both expertise in food and wine with an international certificated career world wide.

This will be organized twice in a year: last week of November (2008) and the first week of March (2009). Meeting point: The Train station of Peschiera del Garda, on Monday morning at 10.00 am. A shuttle bus will be reserved for your arrival and for the entire week itineraries. Destination and places: Verona, city of Romeo and Juliette, Valpolicella wine Valley, Lake Garda and countryside.

Accommodation: Beautiful Villa and wine Estate in the heart of Valpolicella Area in a nice refurbished apartments with heating, telephone, color TV with satellite, air conditioning. The accommodation is with breakfast included.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Monday: Arrival day. Meeting on Monday morning at 10.00 o' clock at the train station in Peschiera del Garda. Welcome to the accommodation (only 25 minutes from Verona, the lake Garda and the Valerio Catullo Villafranca Airport) and check-in. Small bites (bocconcini) and a glass of Prosecco will be served at arrival. At noon Lunch together and visit to the smallest winery in the Valpolicella area: producer of Amarone and Recioto wine.

Time to satisfy our appetite with a crazy pasta prepared live, local cheese, Soppressa salami and bread bruschetta. Moka coffee (traditional coffee) and sbrisolona (crumbs cake) will be served at the end of meal. A short break in Sant'Ambrogio visiting the ancient Romain church or two steps through the fields (depends on the weather) then back to the hotel for refreshing. Mid-afternoon visit to the olive oil museum. Late afternoon destination to a little town on the lake; walking in the narrow streets of Lazise. Dinner menu based on local specialty.

Day 2, Tuesday: Trip to the south of Verona visiting the cheese Boutique with it's amazing selection of 150 different Italian products guided tasting as appetizer. A light Venetian meal for lunch. In the afternoon a short break in Soave, discovering an organic winery and tasting its famous wines In the mid-afternoon on the road again for Isola della Scala "the risotto town" and Land of rice Vialone nano, we will have the pleasure to be hosted in an ancient mill for a multi course risotto menu.

Day 3, Wednesday: In the morning hands on Cooking class will be held in the kitchen of the Villa. Topic of the lesson 1:
- Risotto, how to cook a perfect risotto "al dente".
- Home made fresh pasta: Tagliolini, lasagne, farfalle, tagliatelle, maltagliati and cannelloni.
- Lunch with Wine tasting and visit of the cellar.
- After lunch time to refresh and relax.
- Late evening for a fantastic Pizza-Dinner.

Day 4, Thursday: After breakfast, visit to the open market in Bardolino, walking in the streets and doing shopping. Lunch in a cozy family restaurant in a small village. After lunch it is time for Grappa visiting, an exclusive distillery close by. A relaxing Passeggiata through Garda and the local fish shop. Dinner in Brenzone, based on lake fish catch of the day.

Day 5, Friday: In the morning hands on Cooking class will be held in the kitchen of the Villa. Topic of the lesson 2:
- Potatoes gnocchi and sauces.
- Stuffed pasta: Ravioli, tortelloni, caramelle, saccottini, bacellie cosoncelli.
- Lunch with Wine tasting.
- After lunch time to refresh and relax.
- Dinner in a typical Locanda (country side restaurant).

Day 6, Saturday: Tour of Verona. In the morning guided Tour of the historic city center. Lunch with traditional specialty and free time in the afternoon. Late evening dinner in Torri del Benaco.

Day 7, Sunday: Destination Valeggio sul Mincio and visit of Borghetto, the medieval bourg. Lunch in a typical Trattoria. Degustation of Tortellini (a tiny ravioli filled with meat served in a soup or with butter and sage). A walk trough Sirmione, a nice charming city located on the south part of the Lake. Visit and Wine tasting of the Lugana white wine. Dinner at the restaurant in the winery.

Day 8, Monday: Departure (morning). Pick up time for Arrivederci. The mini bus will drop you to the airport (Verona - Villafranca Valerio Catullo only) or Peschiera del Garda (train station) to your next destination.

- euro 2400 per person in a double occupancy,
- euro 2600 per person with a single supplement.

- Transportation to all the itineraries,
- Vat and service are included.

* Policy. The price doesn't include air fair and personal travel insurance. A 50%deposit is requested for your booking. The remained balance must be paid 20 days before arrival.

* Cancellation: If you cancel 60 days prior to arrival date, we will send back your deposit less an administration charge of euro 50.00. If you cancel between 60 and 30 days you will unfortunately lose 50% of your deposit. If you cancel less than 30 days your deposit will be not refundable.
