The navigation on the Aisen fjords and along the austral Chilean coast, using a motor sailor as lodge plus the excursions organized at the Fiordo Queulat lodge. This journey includes among many other activities a visit to the Hanging Glacier, to the Valle Marta hot springs, to Kent, Jechica and Magdalena Islands; navigation along the austral channels and observation on the marine wildlife such as cetaceous (austral dolphins, dolphins…), sea wolves, sea birds, and even sometimes whales; botanical observation of the lush coastal temperate rainforest and also great fishing by the coast and at the rivers and streams outflows.
The beauty of the land we will visit is a sample of the biodiversity of the national parks and reserves of the Austral Chilean Coast. An amazing territory you will discover in the north-western Chilean Patagonia – the Aisén region.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Balmaceda – Río Aisen – Pto. Pérez (L,D)
- Reception at Balmaceda airport
- Drive from Balmaceda to Coyhaique then to Puerto Aysén crossing the Andes from east to west Lunch in Coyhaique
- After boarding the motor sailor, navigation along the Aisén Fjord to the natural hot springs at Puerto Perez. Hot spring bath are possible, depending on the tide.
- Meals and lodging on board - Overnight in a protected bay

Day 2: Navigation from Pto.Perez to Isla Kent (B,L,D)
- Eight hours of beautiful navigation until arriving to Isla Kent, a biosphere reserve and natural sanctuary for birds and marine wildlife.
- During the navigation one can observe: cetaceous, dolphins, austral dolphins, sea wolves, cormorants, Magellanic penguins, and sea birds.
- We will arrive to a spectacular island bay and anchor there the next two nights

Day 3: Isla Kent (B,L,D)
- Full day for excursions on the island, hikes inland and along the beautiful beaches, observation of the virgin forest and exploration for botanical and animal observation, kayak in inland lakes

Day 4: Navigation Isla Kent - Isla Jechica (B,L,D)
- Navigation on the Perez channel to the Yacht marina of Jechica Island.
- At the end of the day, walk along the island trails (wood paved trails) to an inland lake.

Day 5: Jechica - Fiordo Queulat Lodge (B,L,D)
- Arrival at the end of the day to Fiordo Queulat Lodge in the very heart of the Queulat National park. Welcome barbecue, Patagonian style.
- Overnight at the Fiordo Queulat Eco Lodge

Day 6: Queulat National Park (B,L,D)
- Full day excursion (hikes) in the Queulat National Park
- Excursion to the Hanging Glacier moraine or to the Queulat pass, depending on weather conditions
- Meals and lodging at the Lodge
Day 7: Puyuhuapi Hot Springs - Lodge Queulat (B,L,D)
- Hikes, hot spring baths, fishing, multiactivities at the lodge and at Puyuhuapi Hot Springs. Meals and lodging at the Lodge
Day 8: Lodge Queulat-Balmaceda (B,L)
- Drive on the southern highway to Coyhaique and then to Balmaceda airport
- Picnic on the way or lunch in Coyhaique
The yacht that will be used in this program will depend on the size of the groups and its requirement
